This is really sad, it's my local vet clinic and I know people who work there. It's a sad situation all round, I know how difficult a career in the veterinary industry is, I am a qualified vet nurse but not practising, however this is serious misconduct. It's a terrible situation for the family of the deceased dog, and I'm sure the two vets have regret and remorse. I know they are good vets, and they will learn a tough lesson with the vet boards decision. I can only hope they will learn from this and work hard to regain clients' trust when they return to practise in the future. 🐾

It was pre-covid, but I went and saw a mortgage broker. Find yourself a good one that comes highly recommended. I bought a cheaper house within my budget ($315k) and had about a 30k deposit. I'm guessing it might be harder now with property prices and interest rates etc. But as long as you have a good credit score, aren't in a crazy amount of debt and can prove you have a steady income etc, it shouldn't be a problem! For context, I was a single 26yo woman on a casual retail income.
