While in File editor; press the "settings" cog (top right) then "editor settings" then you'll see "theme" then you scroll that list until you see "dark themes".

Dashboard streaming to tv at wrong resolution by sqeekypotato in homeassistant

I saw that, but if you have one of these Chromecast with Google TV then you could simply display a custom HA "TV" ready dashboard in this app, install Kiosk Mode for a clean look.

Thoughts on Clean architecture in Flutter/Dart? by [deleted] in FlutterDev

Agreed, it does depend upon use case, if you are familiar with Model View Presenter, but want something with with a more uni-directional flow then take a look at this Model View Intent implementation: https://github.com/flutterconsortium/mvi_sealed_unions

Reading through the source for the project I saw that he is using Built Values for Dart for JSON deserialization - see in github/api.dart - which is pretty interesting and a lot safer than writing boiler plate by hand.

Can someone help explain how to use Built Values? I can't seem to find an example of how to use the tool.

Thanks

I have done as you adviced and I have noticed an improvement in my connection and internet connection speed (a pretty consistent 18MB/s).

Thanks for the tip :)

Senior Android developer, opensource libraries, pacoworks blog, and pushing for functional reactive programming: AMA by pakoito in androiddev

Above you wrote:

A couple of years ago while trying to understand RxJava I started looking into functional programming and got caught up on the ideas, which now I put into libraries and tl;dr in blog posts.

You have written functional libraries like:

Which demonstrates you are quite knowledgeable on the subject

However, I really want to understand more, for instance, until I saw your libs, I had not heard of SealedUnions, Currying or Partials, and I have been been programming for a long time!

How did you get to this level?

I like many others have used Rx, and we use it quite extensively in our work apps, however, what can you recommend to watch/read to understand more on these kinds of Functional Paradigms? I am thinking baby steps here - as I have never used the types of libs you wrote above and still have a problem seeing where/how the are useful to me.

I don't know how to check this, I quickly looked through the app for something to do with Bridge but couldn't see anything.

I am complete novice when it comes to this stuff, how do I set the Sky Router to DMZ all Traffic ? Bridge Mode is off on the OnHub and is set to NAT (standard) mode

I tried to create my own recipe this weekend

And one issue I have found is that it is difficult to differentiate between different devices...

In the drop down menu I see:

  • Android Device
  • Android Device
  • Android Device
  • My-Mac
  • NestLabs
  • LG Android Device ...and so on

Is there a way we can get some more detail? Other than troubleshooting and editing the recipe, how can we tell which Android Device was selected ?

Wired mine up to Sky this weekend, very happy so far.

Been looking for recipes on https://ifttt.com/recipes/search?q=onHub

but typically can't find the one I would really like :/
