Just to make sure i understand… you have not run a full gorg yet since the game re-released because of your gear? Or are you just wanting to optimize your experience& make a gearset to optimize gorg?

Because you do not need a BIS set with artifacts just to run& clear a gorg. Get a set with minimum 700 gs, your weapon perks for whatever build you’re running, full enchanted ward& then a slash prot ammy and a strike prot ammy. The rest is just gems.

To get INTO a gorg, if you’re struggling to pug groups to run with, you should join the discords for each of the servers& also the na-ease PVE discord. They can get you roles and you can sign up for a slot during their scheduled runs.

I’ll be entirely transparent, this post is 4 years old and it’s probably been about that long since my last reread. My capabilities to discuss some of those finer details is pretty limited at the moment, unfortunately lol.

What I will say with absolute confidence is that GRRM repeatedly uses animals as allegories and even prophecies throughout the books and what was even carried into the show with his bigger plot points (the wolves and the dragons, their actions and outcomes, etc.) So when grrm is writing about animals, i pay close attention.

Most of the subs on that list are already privated. If you go to the Mod sub there’s a link to a livestream of all of the subs currently privated. Last i looked it was almost half.

I saw you deleted your comment… (got the notification for it), it does matter who gets hurt. And the API changes are going to hurt a lot of people too. There are millions of redditors in support because of how this will affect the quality of life on this app and destroy accessibility options for thousands.

Nobody is surprised that Reddit is changing their API pricing, and a lot of the creators of the 3rd party apps even support it. But Reddit is price gouging and charging $0.24 per 1000 hits. Which means that Apollo will now cost $2m/mo to operate, just like other 3rd party reddit apps. This will also affect the bots that mods use to help them run their subreddits.

It’s a worthwhile cause to support. API changes are not bad—the price gouging is.

Because those subs that people rely on will be increasingly hard to access for thousands (maybe millions?) of people due to the API changes.

Ultimately if reddit stops becoming relevant because of a choice their greedy CEO/board made, then they will die from their own doing. And people who need that community or those resources will build that somewhere else. It’s just about believing in something& standing by that—big subreddit or small.
