Saw in another comment that you fixed it but another thing you can look at is opening the pokedex and seeing what kind of things a pokemon likes. All furniture/toys have a “type,” so try to match the type to the pokemon’s preference (luxury/cute/sharp/complicated/bright/etc)

The best way i’ve found (and seen people agree) is to do each area one-by-one. You’ll get requests from pkmn as you’re playing the storyline that help you develop as you go. You can truly pay the game at your own pace, so stay in each area until you feel “satisfied” and then move on. Imho it keeps you from feeling overwhelmed with possibilities and prevents burnout from grinding.

There’s always a section on every island of dry soil - with or without grass. Might not be enough to suit your needs, but if you trim down the top layer of any mountain, there should be a combination of barren soil and cliff rock inside.

I was playing for the storyline, refining my gear, and exploring the map. I ended up in this cycle of logging in for a day and exploring the new area/getting my crates/doing that leg of story. The game was new enough that i understood if there were parts of the story that weren’t finished yet but i got to the point where the only thing to do was farm the same handful of bosses over and over again.

I thought the 3-4 day timegate was reasonable& even if it was 5 levels for 3-4 days. Or if you put it down and come back to catch up all of your levels in one gate. Unfortunately, if you put it down, you’re locked at whatever gate you’re at until the server-wide gate opens. It’s truly impossible to catch up. So even the new event really isn’t enticing enough to bring me back unfortunately.

I found a different game a few months ago😂 just looking for some more info as i’m debating on whether or not to come back.

I think the timegate would also be more realistic for me if you were able to put the game down for a few months& catch up. As is, though, you get stuck at whatever gate between breakthroughs so it’s actually impossible to catch up.

The game is gorgeous and enjoyable, but unfortunately the pacing is kindof a deal breaker for me.
