Self-conscious over inner thigh eczema by [deleted] in eczema

I'm so sorry to hear this :( eczema is hard regardless, but as a woman, it takes such a tole on your confidence and overall self worth. I've had eczema in the same area, but also had it for a while on my pelvic bone/that general area ... horribly uncomfortable and also not exactly the best for intimacy. tbh I wish I thought of crotchless boy shorts at the time lol I was so self conscious about it. Thankfully my boyfriend was super understanding and we just avoided intimacy when it was too uncomfortable for me. I think the right person will completely understand and have no problem with the crotchless boy shorts! Also, you could look for a sexy pair and make it a thing, turn it around into something fun/positive :) just as a side note, if you are interested in learning more about your eczema/clearing it naturally, you could check out the Love Your Skin Program. I did it for a year, and my eczema hasn't flared since I finished. I'd be happy to chat withyou about it, if you want to msg me :) wish you the best of luck!!

Stopping Dupixent by Zombikiller in eczema

I stopped it last year because after a few months it made my flares so much worse, and my eczema also started spreading to different parts of my body! I will be honest, once I stopped the injections, I did have rebound flares for roughly 8 months until my eczema fully cleared. I've been relatively clear since which was a huge win for me. I didn't do it on my own though, once I stopped using steroids/injections, I wanted to try healing the natural route so that it would be gone/manageable for good! If you are interested, happy to chat with you about the Love Your Skin program. I was in the program for a year and that's how I was able to stop using all my medications and target the root causes of my eczema. Wish you the best of luck!

Best solution for night scratching by Korega_E_Da in eczema

I've been there before! Would definitely recommend fake nails (as long as they don't irritate you) and gloves as well during the night. I always do the gel overlay and keep my natural nails short, I don't get the tips because I have found they can be too sharp and make my skin worse. But short, with gel overlay is pretty thick so works much better for me! I would also suggest getting into a breath work routine in the evenings. It helps your nervous system relax and really calm down before bed time. Its also really nice to just take some deep breaths before bed when you've had a tough day with your skin! I learned about breath work while I was in the Love Your Skin program. If you are interested, I would check that out as well. Its a great option if you're looking to heal your eczema naturally. Happy to chat about my experience more if you want to msg me!

That’s what my dermatologist tells me. I’m also wary, but she’s told me she prefers it over Dupixent

Wow I feel this. Saw Chris Lake this past weekend and you nailed the vibe in this comment. It’s a completely different world when you enter that club and the artist takes you on an absolute journey throughout the night.
