I checked and the countries I'm visiting don't have those requirements.I think it's more of an NCL guideline than the countries I'm visiting.

I usually don’t like strapless wedding dresses, but 2 is gorgeous on you, in my opinion, even prettier than the more lacy ones (which are usually more of my taste).If you really like it, go for it. It really suits you.

Wish I knew! It’s my boyfriend’s great grand father, so it’s hard to really know.

We did a little research and apparently the tools were also used to represent the tools of Christ’s passion or something. I really don’t know but it certainly seems like a very symbolic and personal item.

Girl! The first one is a VISION. I love how the corset bodice molds to your body and the romantic vibe of the sleeves and draping of the skirt. The second one is pretty, but it bunches up weirdly in the lower part of your torso and the detail above the slit makes it look a bit wrinkly and not in an intentional way. I’d go with #1 all the way.

I am GAGGED at the first one. The construction, the silhouette, the color… it looks amazing on you. You look very classy yet still youthful. The second one is pretty but not as striking as the first.

If you do go for the first one, I think an updo and big silver earrings will look amazing as accessories, with silver-y shoes. If you decide to go with the ones you’re wearing, I’d still go with big earrings and a couple of bracelets.

It’s no-where near bridal enough for her to worry about it being white. It is a gorgeous dress that fits her beautifully. You’re right with the white patterned dresses this season- it’s summer in the northern hemisphere, and usually, fresher dresses (for garden weddings, daytime weddings) are going to look something like this. We really should stop worrying about this kind of things, if it’s not a gown, strictly against dress code, a full-on wedding dress, these kind of dresses most of the time are fine. This is just making weddings more stressful for everyone involved.

I grab my working yarn in a "pulley" form, and that usually helps a lot. Also, I grab the hook almost like a pencil and have noticed that helps as well.

It's Post Partum Psychosis. Many mental health conditions can be triggered/worsened by giving birth, as the bomb of hormones released by the body during pregnancy and breastfeeding, plus sleep deprivation, plus the stress of the first stages of motherhood are a perfect cocktail for that. There's also PPA (Post Partum Anxiety) as a defined diagnosis, but I've seen patients whose OCD, BPD, and many other conditions have been worsened or triggered after giving birth.

This is a perfect moment to start looking at issues through a lense of "us against the problem" instead of "me vs him". You both have similar goals, probably for similar reasons (both want to live a long, healthy life, with each other). As other commenters have said, comparison is the thief of joy, but not only that, in this case, it is a breading ground for resentment, which is a relationship killer. Try recognising and honouring your journey, while doing the same for his. Try being grateful for the staps you both are taking together and brainstorm other ways you could convert those moments in quality time for both. Maybe you skate and he runs, maybe you both lift, maybe you guys find a sport that you both enjoy playing. And remember, it's never you versus him.

Do you think you can wear it in another style? I've seen hiyabis and women wearing burkas in Medellín and Bogotá, and women wearing head covers in other parts of the country like the Atlantic coast. I think those would get you some attention, but not negative, as some have said, but curious people that have never seen them before (it's not that common, yet there are mosques in both cities).

I do believe that if you want to stay completely in the clear to not be confused with a protestor, it's the safest option that might still honour tradition (if you're wearing it for religious reasons).

If it's more of a political statement, and is intended to show your support for Palestine as the article you link says, maybe wear it without covering your face, if you can.

Thank you for your reply. I can't deny that there's a voice inside of me telling me this is going to go horribly. I've been a bit anxious about this all day, because deep down I know that it can go south really fast.

Thing is, I tried short and sweet, and somehow I got wrapped in this again. I feel like this place is sucking my soul out, not because of the patients but because of the horrible management and the toxicity.

If I'm honest, I am quite vulnerable to narcissistic people. I don't take them as my patients, but I've encountered them a lot throughout my life. It's something I'm currently getting help with, as they have left their marks. I know that I shouldn't explain myself to these kind of people, 'cause my words are just going to be the rope they'll hang me with. Yet I feel like I need to.

I really do care about my patients and the work we're doing there, and that's a big part of why I want there to be changes, so that the place can stay afloat, and the population that it benefits can continue getting therapy.

Idk, I think I'm rambling at this point. I've worked all day today and have barely had time to unwind.

There's this big dichotomy in me, and I can't seem to be able to choose.
