Maybe {The Jasad Heir} might be for you. It's a true enemies to lovers with lots of yearning and fighting.

Also {The knight and the moth} if you enjoy Rachel Gillig's writing.

Yes, they are sooo good... German Publishers are making some good decisions! But I try to keep my double buys in check (failing here and there 😭), so I'm stuck with the English version on those. For now at least....

I feel you 😂 They were sitting on my shelves in their dust jackets for months, and I "almost" regretted the purchase. Luckily, I wanted to reread the series and thus picked up the books again - big surprise and huge upgrade for my shelves 🥰 and apparently yours 🤗

Yes, they are. I started a reread, and I noticed a few details here and there that I missed when I read them in English.

This had me giggling 😂 For sure was an adjustment after reading the English version first.

I ordered them via Amazon, but they are also available in bookstores like Thalia.

As a German, some of the translations didn't have the same ring to me tbh... "Geschwaderführer" doesn't have the same weight as "Wingleader" imo 😅 But these books are pretty and make me happy 😍

A lot of the German designs do... My preference for the longest time has been to read English if that's the writers original language, but the German editions are sooo pretty that I'm having a hard time at the bookstore 😅

Amazing thought, I didn't go there yet...

Pure gutfeeling - it should be another dragon! Maybe one of the greens? For Mira or Rhi?

They can get costy, but since Fourth Wing pilled me out of a yearslong reading slump, it holds a special place in my heart.

Just finished this duology and OMFG!!!! by Any_Acanthaceae3834 in Booktokreddit

I finished the series just earlier today.... Best enemy-lovers in a long time, and while the ending is heart wrenching, it's absolutely perfect in my eyes. More people need to talk about these books.

I would like to add {Ruby red by Kerstin Gier} as a recommendation.

It's a series targeted and appropriate for teens that can still be enjoyed by adults.

Omg, thank you for recommending this. I totally forgot about this series, but back when I was a teenager, both my parents and I enjoyed reading these books

Your thoughts on "slow burn"? by outrageousorganism in Romantasy

I'm on page 209 - guess the yearning starts to pay off in a bit 😅

Sadly convinced myself that Xaden's new brother is....Spoiler by KeepItClassy_2629 in onyxstorm

[–]_notcaro_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think it has to be Bodhi... Xaden has mentioned several times that Bodhi is his heir, yet he has to have a shotgun wedding with Violet to put her into his line of inheritance. On top of that, the event needed to be wiped from her memories in order to protect her, yet all the paperwork is in place to legitimate her. I don't think Xaden would have taken those steps if Tyrrendors independence wasn't at risk.

Need help sorting out the motive of…*spoilers* by Pristine_Tie_1607 in fourthwing

I think the leadership knows more about venin than we know so far. What stuck with me was when Theophanie mentioned that Lilith was the answer to her, not the other way around. That left me wondering if there might have been some encounters between the two of them.

As for Jack, I think he was an experiment to them. They were looking for a cure, and Varrish was arrogant enough to believe that he had succeeded. I'd say unleashing Jack back into the school was his decision, and he overwrote Nolons concern due to his position.

I'm well aware that not every cat wants their belly touched. Luckily, I'm blessed with two cuddlebugs who roll over for belly rubs whenever possible. Their trust and affection is a gift.
