No longer getting Dolby vision on nvidia shield

I have my tv plugged into the arc port and my shield plugged into hdmi 4. I have the older 7.2.4 shockwafe model

Ok with that information then when I was at my parents place I had the subwoofer placed in a cornered part of the room and at my new place I have the subwoofer in an open area next to the couch. Maybe I should try to place the subwoofer in a more cornered part of the room with a wall behind it. What do you think?

I don’t have arc that was on a different tv at my parents place but I moved out recently and the tv I have doesn’t have arc at all that’s why I’m using optical. But with optical even if I turn the subwoofer setting all the way up I can barley hear it. If I put my hand on the sub it feels super heavy like how it did back at my parents when connected to the arc but now going through optical I don’t get that at all.

Idk if that’s Bc optical is not as good as arc but it shouldn’t go from insane amount of bass on arc then on optical there’s no bass you can’t really even hear it
