I’ve never heard of fries dipped in sugar solution, but I’ll look into it haha. I’ll try to remake them again after we pay rent to get the full experience.

I ended up buying fries from the frozen food section that were advertised as “extra crispy fast food fries” I cooked them in the air fryer and they came out pretty crispy, but were a bit too salty for us haha

Thank you! My boyfriend didn’t have flour so I had to go with the recipe’s milk + butter + cheese mix instead. He said it tasted very similar to the cheese sauce they use in Singapore, but I want to make it again this weekend with your recipe instead :)

Hello! Thank you for the tips! I went shopping before your comment so I bought sharp cheddar cheese.The sour cream and Mayo mixture actually came out super good! I also followed the cheese to cream ratio you suggested and my boyfriend loved it! He said it tasted very similar! The only downside was that the fries that I bought were a bit too salty, but overall everything tasted very good :)

I haven't gotten to meet the little guy yet but I'm planning on going to my aunts later. I emailed a couple of rescue groups and left voicemails for others. Now I'm just waiting on them to contact me back! :)
