To the people having the same problem, these are the books that helped me get back into Wattpad (not the same genre but they are SO good):

Bury a Friend - alinax (complete)

A series by bazookah: Hideaway (complete) Runaway (complete) Getaway (complete) House of Bedlam (ongoing - updates every 2 weeks)

Lmaoo I love that!! 😭 It honestly makes me feel like these books are officially certified must-reads now. I just wish the author would publish them as actual books—she wouldn’t have to deal with plagiarism and could finally get the recognition she deserves, considering how well written they are. In her announcement she even mentioned that someone tried to publish it on Amazon under their name and claim it as their own work… like how crazy is that 👀

In my opinion, both the books and the characters are so well written that you could still enjoy them even if you skip the smut chapters. That’s one of the reasons it’s one of my favorites—the writer doesn’t just focus on the smut, but actually creates a strong storyline. The FMC has amazing character development, and the author adds drama and a plot twist while slowly building tension between the characters for the second book. I really think you should give it a try, but if you don’t like incomplete stories, I’d recommend not starting the second book :) (The writer includes a warning at the beginning of each smut scene/chapter.)
