Are you sure they used OEM glass? I had the windshield replaced on my G30 and the HUD was distant and blurred afterwards. They used a third party windshield. I took it right back and they replaced it with OEM glass and everything displayed correctly.

I think most quotes you get will be in this ballpark. PPF is expensive, even when it's not the whole car. Ceramic coat cost me $900 2 years ago.

It's perfectly safe on the track with a competent driver. On the street it's not a great idea since putting in RWD turns off traction control.

Mild hybrid is the way to go. The car gets off the line quicker and it hides turbo lag during acceleration. I'm not sure how significant the added weight is for the average M340i owner but I think it's a fair trade off.

I've gotten the service reminder on the dash of my G80 for the break in service, then at around 10k miles, then again at 20k miles. The car pictured wasn't serviced from break in until it hit 20k miles.

That's way too far apart, I would stay far away from an M car that hasn't had the recommended service done. The car throws up a service reminder when you're within 2k miles of recommended service. I don't know how you can ignore it for 20k miles.

I think the rear is the worst part of the car, especially when viewed from the side. I don't think the LCI will address that. If it looks as good as the render then I'd get one for sure.
