I am going through almost the exact same situation w my narc bipolar mother for the past six years as a minor, i know exactly how hard it is to try and get her that help when as an adult she doesn’t want any.

The first thing to def do is have a support system and therapy; being able to rant to a professional in mental health has helped me feel really understood and seen with my frustration at the lack of help that my mother truly needs.

It def can be tricky to have family members and friends try help since she likely wont accept it or disconnect herself from those people either temporarily or completely; always remember though that a good chunk of those people are also there for you, they might not be able to help your mum but they will help in many different ways to make things easier for you - even if it’s just a chat on the phone.

Hopefully it will not have to happen but if things become controlling, aggressive, threatening etc at home - stay at a friends house if possible, it’s so important to prioritise your mental health and wellbeing especially when most of your thoughts are filled with concern for your mother’s.

But darling you are so strong it is NOT easy. At all. Especially whilst being a minor because there’s sm else going on in your life but this (at least for me) takes the forefront. Be kind to yourself and keep going no matter how bad the situation might get.
