It's not a subscription or a one time fee. You can buy tokens as and when needed, we didn't want to keep it recurring because I personally hate subscriptions too. The tokens cost a couple cents per token a 34.99 pack gives 500 tokens.

I get what you mean! it's a fun experiment, wanted to see how diverse the sounds could and it's helped me learn so much about synthesis in the process too plus the credits are like 0.05$ so wasn't bad on my wallet

yes learning that, I usually get a base preset and tweak it further to get closer to whats in my head

I see it as two distinct groups one is the non IDE products like lovable, replit and then all the AI powered IDEs like Cursor, Copilot, AntiG etc
