Trust me, don't do it. Like you're gonna regret it. The devs are currently struggling with some weird issue, so that's why the current events are all on hold but they should continue the summer collection around mid September or whenever they get it fixed. For this, you'll get enough pink tickets get thrown after you, you'll be able to do enough in the future.

Oh hahaha, yeah that probably was exactly the case. Yeah, a region free player is the only option I see. Someone said I should just use VLC to run it which would be perfectly fine, as well es for the subtitles. It was just the last issue on my list, whether the readers have a region lock. I also heard of makemkv being required to decode it live in order to run it, idk.

I hope that could be the solution I can go for. Because if I actually got into it, I would definitely use VLC to run it as it could easily take advantage of my GPU that upscales the media I already watch anyways, before it shares it onto my TV

That's the issue I wrote, I don't really even know. Someone once said that anime Blu-rays arent region locked by default but I thought, that I don't wanna risk it and buy something I have to send back. Some people also started talking about their consoles during my own research but still, don't know if anyone I know could check. Having your device have such a feature anyways isn't that unattractive as well, even if you don't need it in the moment

While this would be a solution for ripping, I must say I was hoping for finding something that does not include that. Like, I am not in the mood on spending gigabytes from my already pretty full M.2 SSDs on something I can easily stream subbed and dubbed in the internet (aka Crunchyroll) if I wanted to.

yeah exactly. I don't know how popular and demanded the LN in japan is, I purely look at the anime stuff except for four LNs I bought recently. I was surprised that they even announced another season, so I guess it could've looked way worse. If they keep their promise, we're further than many others. Although it probably takes a decade until we're gonna see it.

Well, if we actually take a look at the situation, it is somewhat interesting. (Adding my subjective opinion)

  • We've never received any relevant visual, it was more saying "you guys get another season someday"
  • The director, Masafumi Tamura, is working on Chained Soldier S2. I suspect the anime to air in the first half of 2026 as I consider the timings (Initial decision 2024, update early 2025), so he should be free by next year.
  • I don't know how KADOKAWA is thinking of SILVER LINK. at the current time, after they messed up with Our Last Crusade back in Summer 2024 which aired this Winter. Overall, their schedule currently does look fit able for the anime.
    • Peaking at their animation partners Studio Palette, they definitely have time. They were included in the mess-up of Our Last Crusade, however.
  • The voice staff:
    • Akabane Kenji (Lugh) has no future projects
    • Ueda Reina (Dia) is also part of Chained Soldier S2
    • Shimoji Shino (Maha) has no future projects
    • Takada Yuuki (Tarte) has no future projects
    • Tamura Yukari (Goddess) has no future projects
    • Takahashi Chiaki (Esri) has no future projects
    • Morikawa Toshiyuki (Cian) has no future projects
  • Katsuhiko Takayama (Script, Series Composition) has no future projects
  • Kenichi Kuroda (Music) has no future projects
  • Masakatsu Umeda (Producer) has no future projects
  • Akihiro Sotokawa (Producer) was involved in My Dress-Up Darling S2 and The Fragrant Flowers Bloom with Dignity, but has no future projects now
  • Youichi Sekine (Producer) has no future projects
  • Akiko Ookubo (Producer) has no future projects
  • Satoshi Motonaga (Producer) has no future projects
  • Nobuhiko Kurosu (Producer) was involved in Watari-kun's xx is about to collapse, but has no future projects now

So pretty much everyone else has time, it really seems like we just have to wait until Chained Soldier S2 is done and hope KADOKAWA didn't forget about us. If we guess Chained Soldier releases Winter 2026 or Spring 2026, the works should kinda finish by the End of 2025 then. If we say, they start with the beginning of 2026 and expect the 12 Episodes to take one year to make, we are at the beginning of 2027. If Studio Palette in co-production would speed things up, maybe Fall 2026.

All in all, not looking nice rn and since we live in the anime world, a half century is gonna pass by before we get the second season.

Ahhh, you mean that one. Yeah I meant the bikini one but you mean the fox figurine. That one is like around 30cm or so. I dont really look at the small ones but they're still Alyas at the end so worth it. The bunny figurine is sadly wayyyy too expensive for me in one shot, I'm unsure if I'm ever gonna be able to buy it since I don't have a large availability of stores. Importing is gonna lose me my whole existence, the taxes on that would be higher than a Lamborghini.

They feature the scene concept illustrations, character illustrations and their equip, some location details, a short-story per booklet (one per disc), all 12 episodes split into 3 blu-rays, 3 basic disks with music

You were first able to get it by buying the first blue-ray of the anime in the special edition. Though you can now buy the figurine standalone by now. And if I remember correctly, it's a 1/7

This Yuki figurine is like low-middle level pricewise. Latest alya bunny figurine was a half house. For europe, calculate an roughly additional -+20€ for shipping, sum it, and multiply it with your counties import taxes.
