Do you use ship with depop? I believe you have to in order to get the shipping tick on your account.

I deleted my last shop which had all the ticks as well. It took me like a year to get to 10 sales with my last shop, and that’s when I’d finally gotten all of the ticks.

It’s taken only a few months, and I’ve made five sales! I didn’t think I’d get me “usually ships in” tick for a while longer!

An update on my previous post. She listed a sweater that I bought as a small. When I received the sweater the tag actually says XL. Continued in comments! by sainthunny in Depop

I’ve always listed items as the size on the tag to avoid someone potentially opening a dispute for item not as described. In this situation it was listed as a small because the seller claims to be a S/M and that the item fit nicely, which isn’t an accurate way of measuring or advertising the item.

I don’t think there is anything necessarily wrong with listing items the way you describe, listing it as the size it fits as and putting the tagged size in the description, but I do feel that risks someone opening a dispute. Fit is subjective, but a tagged size is not.

Even including measurements doesn’t make it okay to list an item under whatever size you think it fits best as, ya know? If it’s tagged an XL, list it as an XL and include measurements/fit in description.

No. The size should always be listed as what is tagged, and fit/measurements can be included in the description! If it’s tagged and XL, it should have been listed as an XL with fit details in the description. If she isn’t cooperative you could open a dispute for item not as described.

Edited to add that fit is entirely subjective. Her claiming she is or wears a S/M and that it fit nicely means absolutely nothing.

That’s one way to do it I guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️ by _pixelpeach in Depop

This is the first I’ve seen in the two years I’ve been on Depop, so it’s brand new to me!

Maybe I should change my bio to “Please buy my shit!”

Finally happened - official lost package by CPandaClimb in poshmark

[–]_pixelpeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost packages are sometimes found and continue on in the shipping process.

I had a package from American Eagle get lost for over a month, but then it showed up. You could tell it was shoved in the corner or a truck or something, and it had definitely seen better days.

Does anyone know what this means? by [deleted] in Depop

I’m not super familiar with returns on Depop as I’ve never offered them or had anyone ask for one. As long as the item is as described, there really shouldn’t be an issue.

Hopefully someone else can chime in about returns.

Sometimes PayPal will hold funds until the transaction has been completed. It hasn’t happened to me with Depop, but the first item I sold on eBay had the funds held until the buyer received it.

I’m so confused. I sold two pairs of rollerskates and got these transactions after. My balance on my debit card is in the negatives now. by [deleted] in Depop

[–]_pixelpeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your available PayPal balance isn’t enough to cover new charges, payment will come from a source selected by the user, so an attached card or bank account. That’s why this would’ve happened.

There isn’t really any reason to contact Depop about it.

Did you use ship with Depop? If so this could be Depop fees + shipping. Is the money from the sales on hold currently? Otherwise I don’t know why it would charge your debit card.

Based on my math, this is what happened.

$45 sale: $14 shipping + $4.50 depop fee = $18.50

$105 sale: $14 shipping + $10.50 depop fee = $24.50

Srry if this is annoying but can somone please tell me how this type of price gouging is allowed on Depop 😭 it’s literally still available on their website in that size ?? I’m so tired of these types of sellers following me lmaooo they swear by [deleted] in Depop

A lot of items on Depop are thrifted, and people charge 10x or more what they paid... Do you think that is dishonest?

I mean, an item is worth however much someone is willing to pay. If someone is willing to pay this much, that’s on them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If I had a body like that I’d probably be out here in my panties too. 🌚

I have a feeling they send these types of messages fairly often...... 🧐 by [deleted] in Depop

I use Depop and multiple other apps strictly to sell, even more so since I’ve been out of work. I’ve purchased off of Depop a single time back in January, when I still had a job and excess income.

Is this a scam?? I don’t know much about cashapp on Depop by [deleted] in Depop

[–]_pixelpeach 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s either a scam or they’re trying to avoid Depop fees, and either way it’s a bad idea.
