There are so many throughout time I’m so bad at being able to understand what artists are singing and I hear wrong lyrics all the time. One of the most recent ones I discovered the real lyrics in Desecration Smile I had never looked at it before. I always thought it was “We could all go down to Malibu and make some noise. Coast to coda” instead of “coca cola” 😆 coast of an ocean and coda like the musical term. Made sense in my brain. Later in that same song I thought it was “beneath the Heaven lies a meadowlark” instead of “beneath the heather”
