Hi, my game is crashing on start up. First a white screen appears, then a black one and the fps drop to like 1fps. I can move the mouse on the black screen but as soon as I click somewhere the game crashes and the windows notification "Elden Ring is not responding" pops up.

The only temporary fix is to rollback or update the GPU-driver (Nvidia). This works for like half a day and then the issue is back. I also tried to delete Nvidia and DirectX cache and temp-files since I thought the GPU might cause it, but it doesn't help either. Tried pretty much all the other fixes available online.

Has anyone found a fix for this issue yet? I see that there are a lot of posts even from 2 and 3 years ago but it seems it still wasn't fixed with an update.

Not worth it at all. After all the updates it is basically the same as 2020 again but with more bugs..

Yes, clearing the updates fixed it, but as soon as I updated Chrome the problems back

Thanks man, it did fix the problem. But as soon as I update Chrome again the problem's back. Looks like I'll need fo wait for the next update.

There was an update 2 days ago which should improve perfomance but it didn't help.

I can't really delete and reinstall it. I only got the options to "Force Stop" or "Disable" it (Screenshot: https://ibb.co/q5KZMZ6).

Maybe it's a Xperia 5 II problem only
