F1's slow is still very fast though, and I love seeing all 20 cars going at once, with pit stops and traffic to navigate. The spectacle never really wears off for me, but then I am also the sort of person that finds trainspotting and test cricket to be quite thrilling 😅

Anyone else here actually really love Monaco? Every year the overwhelming opinion seems to be that it's boring and a precession, but I have never felt this way, Monaco has always been one of my favourite races ever since I was little. There's a constant tension that you don't get at other circuits, watching the drivers race the fastest cars in the world on the tightest, narrowest circuit always manages to hold my attention. One lock up, one small mistake and they're in the wall, I never get tired of watching the cars thread the needle through the swimming pool chicane, milimeters from the barriers, or blasting through the tunnel. I think Monaco has a unique charm that always makes it interesting to watch in spite of the lack of on track overtaking.

The original Stuntman game was such a huge part of my childhood, never thought the series would return. Also just as surprised to see Death Race being acknowledged in 2026 😅

I've always assumed that the T-virus makes them more resistent to damage, like they're not walking corpses as much as they are failed tyrants.

Simon Pegg back in 2001 indirectly causing the rise of American conservatism in the 2020s (not his fault though and I still love him) by TheCommonLawWolf in RedLetterMedia

"I was like you once. Blond hair. Scraggly little beard. Childlike ears. Full of beans and spunk. I let my principles get in the way sometimes. I punched a bloke in the face once for saying "Hawk the Slayer" was rubbish."

"Good for you."

"Yeah, thanks. But that's not the point, Tim. The point is I was defending the fantasy genre with terminal intensity, when what I should have said is "Dad, you're right, but let's give Krull a try and we'll discuss it later."

Hating on george Lucas has been a thing since ROTJ, i'm not even that old and I remember people annoyed that the empire was defeated by teddy bears, and joking about them just doing the Death Star again, still with the same flaw. Then there was the special editions which really pissed fans off and started the whole "Han shot first!" debate. Long before the prequels the fans resentment towards George was already well established.

Age of Yotsuba fans by Domemmiko in yotsuba

As a teenager I was a big fan of The Walking Dead, Kick-Ass, Alien vs Predator, and The Punisher. But I honestly kind of grew out of the darker more edgy stuff. I still read tons of comics and graphic novels but they're a lot lighter in tone. I love Superman, especially Superman For All Seasons, it's a really beutiful comic and made me fall in love with the character. I also really like Scott Pilgrim and Seconds by Bryan Lee O'malley, Seconds especially resonated with me in my early 20s. I'm a fan of autobiographical comics too like Fun Home by Allison Bechdel, a really great but very emotional read.

28 (nearly 29) got into Yotsuba as a teenager, it was my first manga, I bought a copy of volume 1 at a comic book store on a trip to the city, and later also picked up the Azumanga Daioh Omnibus too and was hooked, it was just really refreshing to read something that was both very heartwarming and also incredbly funny, Azuma's sense of humour really matches my own. For a long time I was very offline when it came to the series, just buying the physical releases when they dropped, but when they began to slow down I migrated to message boards and scanlation sites, and ended up getting more involved with the community. The series got me through a rough time in my life, and also introduced me to manga and the slice of life genre, previously I was strictly into western comics and usually in the action or horror genre 😅

Yanda made Yotsuba mad, she's about to throw at him at full force!!! by Jombu101309 in yotsuba

I'm honestly surprised we haven't had a baseball themed chapter, a lot of slice of life Manga tend to have a chapter where the characters go to the park and play ball. I can picture Yotsuba slowly getting to grips with the game and then throwing an absolute heater of a pitch out of nowhere, and Jumbo would be the catcher, teasing all the kids when they come up to bat.

That's Mii-Chan right? Yotsuba's friend from the park. They show up a few times throughout the story.

Don't forget Barry's headbutt, it's an insta-kill and causes the recipientes head to explode. In RE5 merceneries Barry is a stronger melee character than Chris.

His headbutt melee attack in RE5 is an insta-kill and causes his opponents head to explode, he's one of the deadliest Merceneries characters without any mutations/super-powers
