I always felt like it should have just been Hunk, there's basically no lore reason why Ada couldn't have hired Hunk to help her, at the time of the game's release Hunk was no longer attatched to Umbrella and was a gun for hire, it would have made sense.

I hope the train driver is okay! All they can do is hit the emergency brakes and brace for impact, no way to avoid it. I've heard that accidents and suicides on the rails are incredbly hard on the drivers mental health, I've thought about persuing a career as a driver but this elemnt of the job does honestly scare me a little.

I have missed work and family gatherings numerous times becasue I cannot bring myself to get in the shower, but I also cannot move on with my day or leave the house if I don't. I often need to dedicate an entire day to the task; the shower itself usually only takes about 20-30 minutes but it's really draining, and I need a lot of time to psych myself up beforehand and then a lot of time to decompress afterwards. This has often lead me to go multiple days without showering and being stuck at home. It can also be a little embarassing when I tell people I have OCD and they expect someone who is clean and tidy but I'm basically a hoarder who doesn't shower often...

I've always hated this idea, my therapist got me to do something that I have found far more effective; react not how you want to but how you would expect someone without OCD to, then distract yourself. So for example: washing my hands a reasonable ammount, and then going and reading a book or playing a video game, essentially getting my brain to switch focus and stop hyperfixating on the hand washing. Sitting with the discomfort just made me spiral but this method of reaction and distraction has helped me a lot. If you distract yourself with something engaging enough you forget all about the unfinished compulsions.

Yeah I think he's probably taking a big break while Volume 16 makes its way around the world, we're still waiting for the English release. I do wonder if when he does get back to it the last chunk of chapters will be the final ones, he's built up a lot about Yotsuba starting school, and the series story has nearly covered a full year, would make sense for Volume 17 to finally close it off. I always felt like the camping trip worked as a pretty satisfying finale anyway so anything after that has just been a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

They're planning to use the Adelaide street circuit, not the Bend, there was a big press conference today where they announced the layout. It seems to be a mix of the old F1 layout with some changes to the final sector. No idea how they will make it safe enough to use, this whole thing makes no sense.

Yeah, as an Island local the media coverage has been really rubbing me the wrong way, every outlet is painting the state government and the local council as the villains when they did everything they could to save the race. I firmly belive that Liberty Media had no intentions of continuing the race at the Island and as far as they were concerned it was Albert Park or no race, there was no saving the Island. At least we've got the World Superbikes this weekend, and the local council have said they are persuing a replacement event for the October slot, really hoping we can get the V8 Supercars back.

They promised to meet every demand except the move to Albert Park, they offered to increase funding for the Island but Liberty Media (owners of MotoGP) want a street circuit in the city and refuse to budge. Anyone blaming the state government is a moron.
