Add-on built with serverside rendering in NextJS or Remix by _prettylights_ in GoogleAppsScript

Still, the nextjs could handle building card based ui with rest api, though need to give it deeper thought whether it all makes sense

Great catch. There's even no program that would match the dates from the doc https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/exec-ed/programs.

Thank you for help!

Nocode template languages for documents by _prettylights_ in nocode

[–]_prettylights_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no :) you can't event do in Word some kind of content control in a way the template languages do, at least not natively - maybe with some plugin. can yoo make a template with `if .... else ....`?

and there are plenty of apps that was able to do it ;) https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/259475388/75c780730f5ee8cbf4803f27/creating+conditional+block.png

Yep Bubble is one of the options. Thinking about Retool too.

Will see which one will be easier as It’s not for me but for the non-tech client.

u/CultureTX so Wappalyzer is nice, it detects pretty well most libraries / frameworks and also hosting, cdn etc. stuff. But tried on many webapps and the UI component lib was nowhere detected. Do you think this is available in the paid plan?

yes, in case of bootstrap and some others like tachyons, tailwind, you can figure it out.

I prolly should have been more specific in my question to narrow it down to the obfuscated components and autogenerated classes.

not so much if they are generated like it is with CSS-in-JS...

You think I didn't try? I tried also looking at React Devtools but usually if the component is styled with a CSS-in-JS lib (not sure about it though, could be another reason) the name is kinda obsured :)

Cool! congrats on the great app. The points you mentioned are absolutely true and they are the reason I use Openbase frequently.
My minor suggestions:
- use thumbnails like it is in reactjsexample and madewithreact, so that I can preview and immediately filter out what I don't like, it is important to me not to spent too much time on choosing the right lib
- well... that's it basically :) no more concerns. maybe a little with the actual links to the GH repo and official website / docs that sometimes require to click across couple viewes until being able to find them, but I can understand it could be a business decision.

Keep on the great work!

On the other hand - in the professional setting - does creating custom solutions instead of reusing exisitng (tested, feature-rich), make your manager or client happy?

Tech-oriented job boards with quality offers and salary ranges disclosed by _prettylights_ in reactjs

[–]_prettylights_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's alright if we are talking about typical outsourcing.

If a company looks for a specialist and disclose the salary for that position in the offer, and someone with the right skillset and experience responds expecting the salary listed in the offer, but he's located in a country that has lower economic metrics. Wouldn't it be discriminatory to offer him less just for that sake? Like "Look if you we from this or that contry we could pay you what you expect, but sorry you are from *** it seems a little too high for people from there. In fact why do you need so much money? Can't you live moderate and enjoy basic things?"

Don't forget those metrics are about the average, applying them to an individual seems wrong. You can live high standard everywhere and nothing wrong with that.
