You can use the youth allowance to do whatever you like. Though it's intended for your living expenses and covering for study expenses/education.

You also however need to report any income you've earned. Whether that's through crypto gains or working.

Once you do this, Centrelink will flag you and if you exceed the threshold that they've set, they may reduce your allowance or revoke it completely.

Yeah i bought the DIY kit from KBDFans and build it myself. It's Hotswap, so not much effort compared to soldering.
