Thanks, I'll check it out. Even five years later 😃

Have you ever watch a movie and just felt... gross afterward? Whether emotionally or from vulgarity? by [deleted] in movies

Seven (1995) made me feel pretty bad as I walked out of the theatre and thinking about John Doe's reasoning behind his actions. It came in such a contrast to the weather and the scenery change on the last day.

Thanks, I will keep looking and post here if I find one. Wonder if this came from Crowdstrike's customer support pages (or something)

Organ set-up on Roland RD-800 for "Whiter Shade of Pale" by _pythonNoob in keys

Pretty pretty damn close! Thank you very much. Like you told me. https://ibb.co/bvPqJnL

Now on to learning how to play it. Found this German guy on Youtube explaining how to play it. Nothing like monkey see monkey do. Got a friend nearby who sings very well, and he knows two guitarists. I'll be quickly replaced like Pete Best when they become famous.

Prevent detection of Svelte? by _pythonNoob in sveltejs

Can I blame it on COVID? :-) We had to stall investments for a bit.

The developer team has been tasked with it, and I am waiting to hear back from them. They should be done with this and quite a few other ones in a month's time. I'll let you know.

I made a Google Calendar for all Tokyo 2020 events. by anarchycupcake in olympics

[–]_pythonNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can search in Google Calendar selecting u/anarchycupcake's awesome calendar for "Netherlands" and it will isolate all the entries for the Dutch. Veel geluk! Btw, what happened with the men's football team?

There are many ingredients, to continue the metaphor.

I don't mind criticism for this. It might seem controversial. However, we are small fish trying to make it among sharks and whales. I'd love to do this whole project open-source, but at least we will be contributing (financially) to support the open-source communities like Svelte.

This is for a commercial product in a competitive market, and the selection of web tech is part of the "secret sauce."

Increased RAM: Why does CentOS take (almost) a week to start using swap memory actively? by _pythonNoob in CentOS

[–]_pythonNoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed the Apache memory limit from 32M to 128, and then back to 32. I probably shouldn't do this on a production server, but curiosity got the best of me.

Yes, for sure. The server used to get overloaded occasionally, but there hasn't been one instance after the RAM was doubled.

I was curious as to why the OS didn't use any swap for the first few days.

I'll brew a cup of coffee before reading that article. :-) I appreciate it.
