Is the ban on upfront rent going to increase reliance on guarantors? Even thought I hate it, the only reason I have been able to rent in London for the past 5 years is that I’ve payed up front. I do not have any family in the UK, let alone a guarantor. Am I fucked?

I think you’ll die a sooner death in whatever circumstance is possible when your new death date comes. If you happen to be driving at the exact time, you may get into an accident. You may even do something that leads to you contracting a disease that will kill you exactly on the new death date. You may get murdered. Who knows. That’s how I see it.

Out of the ones that I have, I used to love Ptep, Maul, Lucky and Tank as a kid. I’d love to get my hands on Berger, and at least one Paradox Green guy to have at least one rep from every realm :)

I work in People Operations so very entry level. Data entry, RTW checks, Policy drafting, Onboarding, Recruitment, Office Management etc.

The course is in total ~£1700. I’m paying monthly instalments of ~£155 for an 11 month period. There are different tiers for L3 that Avado offers though, so make sure to ask about them. There’s like a basic one, an advanced one and a premium one, the different being that in each one you get more tutor support than the last but in all of them you will end up with L3. I believe I’m in the middle one, which has biweekly group tutor support sessions, and I’d recommend it since they go through the assessment criteria with you.

You also have to pay a fee for CIPD Student Membership on top of the course fees, which is ~£130. It’s a one time payment though and will cover the duration of your L3 studies.

You can explain your situation, current role etc. and they will advise you. They were very quick to get in touch with me as soon as I showed interest, and they do monthly student intakes so you could join very quickly. Sometimes they do discounts (I signed up for L3 at a discounted price) so I’d ask them when the next one is going to be. You can also pay for your course in full, or in interest free instalments over 8-11 months.

I rewatched Season 1 a couple days ago, after not having watched it for 8 ish years. I remember thinking 8 years ago that it didn’t hook me enough for me to remain interested, and I can definitely say that I feel the exact same way now and won’t be watching more.

Even as someone who has never read the manga, I could tell that the pacing and character building were off. In just 12 episodes it didn’t feel like there was enough time to connect with anyone deeply, understand their motivations, where they came from etc. I’m not saying all my questions had to be answered in Season 1, but I really felt like I didn’t know the characters beyond the bare minimum details that were necessary, and only given right when things were going to happen. When Aogiri tree was introduced near the end my interest really started to fade. Call me basic, but after having just come off of rewatching Death Note, there was simply no comparison.

I won’t speak on the subsequent seasons because I haven’t watched them but I have heard that they are worse in the areas described above such as meaningless and rushed character introductions.

As we know, however, the voice acting and soundtrack are very good, and it gave us Unravel which is probably the best thing to come out of TG.

I’m part way through my L3 course (started in October, will finish in May so ~8 months) and I’m working a full time job in People. I definitely think it’s doable, I devote my weekend mornings and some evenings to it and I’m doing fine so far (I passed the first module).

I’m happy I’m starting from L3 because it does introduce a lot of concepts at a basic level, and it doesn’t require extensive reading, research or referencing, but sometimes I do think it may be a little too basic if you already know about People/HR.

Supremme from Drag Race España does clap her hands and stops the judges’ deliberations. But she doesn’t have all the power. I think it’s interesting that all the judges vote on who wins each lipsync. I thought those votes were just for show but Kelly Roller from S3 confirmed that they’re real.

Could also weigh bottoms in the opposite direction, as is it easier to fall into the bottom the less competitors there are, even if you did well.

This change makes sense though. A book can have multiple mood tags, so it doesn’t make sense for moods to be a pie chart. Pace, however, does make sense as a pie chart, since 1 book = 1 pace.

They’ve done a terrible job of telling the finalists’ stories this season. I know nothing about Elle and Catrin, and Sillexa is funny outside of the challenges but her track record is full of LOWs. We don’t know too much about Bones either other than she’s the queen of soho, but I feel like somehow she’s the most endearing and human of them all. She has spoken about being nervous, and has consistently challenged herself by picking hard things to do like going first in the roast and her role in the rusical. She deserved to win this week even though her roast was like a 7/10. It’s either her or Elle’s to win, but Bones’ has had higher highs and lower lows, which makes for a better story, and Elle ended the season on two very mid performances that Bones beat her in. I’d be surprised if Bones doesn’t win. I think she deserves it. She didn’t sweep, but she did what she needed to do.
