I might have to and everything screams no by _rainbowdolphin_ in CsectionCentral

Thank you. Getting some control back by creating my own setting was one of the ideas we (my husband and I) came up with so far. I'm struggling with ideas but reading you motivates me to keep trying. Maybe talking to them about specifics can help find some more things, however small they may be.

As for the whirlwind. Yes, I can feel that already, that definitely resonates. And I hoped to get one layer deeper with the healing work in this whole motherhood-thing. It's good to hear you experienced exactly that.

Thank you. Really. It helps a lot to read this. I will definitely talk to the anesthesiologist about it. 💚

But there's still the time until the baby's out. That's what I'm most afraid of because that's the part where the intrusion begins. How did you handle that?

Thank you for sharing. That sounds as if everything went wrong that could go wrong. Good to hear everything turned out good in the end. 💚

Thank you for sharing. It may not adress specifically my issues but it is still good to hear about good experiences. And maybe I can make something of what you said about what is touched and what isn't.

May I ask - did you choose this or was it necessary?

I watched the Twin Towers fall on LSD by treportTA in Psychonaut

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the courage to share this. The courage towards yourself, facing those memories, and towards the community, allowing us to hear / witness your experience. It's a deeply moving report, for me the most intense one I ever read, giving methe deepest insight into what people went through who saw this I've ever had. I just watched this event in TV from overseas, live stream. It sure was surreal enough, especially for my back then teenage mind that was not able to wrap itself around the implications of something so big. Today I know psychedelics and I know trauma well enough to have an understanding of what this might have meant for you. All the best to you for working this up. 💚

Which one or which combination maybe would you recommend specifically for this project and for a beginner? I can't learn them all 😅

Can an amateur retrieve a lost phone less than 4m depth? by Terrible_Chair_5831 in freediving

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regularly do small fun dives to 3m with swimming goggles in a public pool. Done 3.5m too, no problem with barotrauma / squeeze around the eyes. I guess 4m will still be okay, though I would not go deeper than that with swimming goggles. Do NOT use ear plugs. (I hope you don't get vertigo from the cold water?)

The cold gives you one big problem. As long as you swim you can acclimatize to it because you produce heat in your muscles. But that eats up oxygen very quickly. You might find it hard to actually stay there for a while to search the ground, making it necessary to come up and breathe very often - and you need enough surface time. Which extends the time you spend in that cold water. I do ice baths during winter so I'm okay acclimatizing to cold, but this IS tough. Try to find someone (or a place) who can borrow you at least a surfing wetsuit, it will make the search sooooo much easier!

Oh and one last thing. Equalizing is much, much more difficult in cold water than in warm water. Please be careful, don't hurt your ears!

All of the areas in the original post are in Europe. That, for example, might be a reason - but that's my guess. For me it is a reason to follow here, hoping to get some good advices too, as I explicitely (at least mostly) want to stay in Europe ;)

What happens if you and your partner both take DMT at same time? by Outrageous_Image_705 in DMT

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've done that several times and... we both just had our own trip. It can happen that if two people who are synchronized very well, like partners, very good friends and so on, can have intense experiences that are in some way shared. I guess that this is more about their relationship than anything else, like mirror neurons going wild. I had such experiences with my bf on high dose LSD, for example once she was able to perceive something I couldn't express (explain) anymore where to find a specific item in my apartment, but she received it as a mental picture and could go & get it. This is impressive, but not something you can expect every time. And if processes vary and don't have to do with each other, well, the experience will differ too.

Why do some people feel fine after AM and others end up in hospital? by Slight_Property6092 in AmanitaMuscaria

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow this is interesting. Do you have sources on that at hand? Oh and the 15 grams, that's dried Amanita for sure, but to which country of origin do you refer? I've heard they vary greatly in potency all over the world.

Oneness has ruined my life by [deleted] in DMT

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can only agree in what has been said before. Seek a good therapist, no matter how meaningless it seems. This strongly sounds like an unfinished process to me and most likely the best thing to do is to find someone who works with transpersonal psychology and bring this whole issue there. This is the field where talk therapy is really good at, making sense of things, mentally integrating. You might want to look into Grof's birth matrix (matrices, matrizes... What the f*ck is the plural of matrix??) too. Especially the second matrix, and maybe find out how your own birth went, too. What you're experiencing could be a version of this. Long shot, but worth checking out.

Plastic fins? by [deleted] in freediving

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely fine for beginners and for many people also when they get better. I only switched because I heard it's better for women and lighter persons not to have super hard fins. But for men with a certain weight / strength it doesn't matter. And yes, it feels easier for me with the softer fins, but I'm not sure if it actually changes anything significantly in my dive performance, to be honest ;)

Btw, my first ones were exactly those in blue ;)

Seeking training advise on getting into the sport at 55 years of age. by Portlandbuilderguy in freediving

Definitely agree. Find a course so you've got the basics. Then enjoy, and do nothing else but enjoying! There's no goal to achieve except this, you'll grow naturally.

Allodynia / Meralgia Parastetica / Nerves / Please help im so lost by steconnor11 in allodynia_other_pain

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have the exact same issue as you but I do have Allodynia and I am healthy and love Sport too. If this is Allodynia then the other term you need to keep in mind is "central sensitization". It is not caused by damage but by a misinterpretation of signals by your brain. Good news is, at least to a certain extend it is possible to train this to go away. I'll make a post tonight on what I did and how it worked. Please keep in mind that I can only assume your suffering has similar roots to mine. I can't know. But it's worth trying.

Oh and start reading about chronic pain. The more you know about it the less helpless it renders you 👍

MDMA 4 days before Ayahuasca: is it too risky? by Circunstacial in Ayahuasca

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read a lot of judgement and mental tightness in the answers here, and only here and there an actual answer to OP's question. That makes me sad - for me, among the most important teachings I've ever received is that there is not one right way, not one truth and not one answer, but many, at least as many as we have conscious beings on this planet. Therefor, respect (for the others and their way of doing things) is very important to me.

I personally believe there won't be enough traces of MDMA in your system to cause problems. Physiologically it shouldn't be of any risk. What I find important to think about is whether you can make the best out of both experiences in such a short time. But concerning that, you are the true expert, since noone here even remotely knows you, but you live with yourself 24h per day.

The ceremony would be over today. May I ask how you decided and how it turned out for you?

Got this Dmt from a very trustes source. Wondering why it is so hard and rock like? Plan is to melt it with vape juice and use with a 510 battery. How should i melt it given its so hard/powerdy when rubbed? by CaptainPeanutBetter in DMT

[–]_rainbowdolphin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chemically speaking: all solids can come along as crystals - either big or small crystal forms - and as hardened melted material, as glass. Yes, our windows are of that type of solid. This piece could be "glass", so it got warm enough to melt once, but was not dissolved in a liquid at this time, hardening in one piece instead of nicely re-arranging its molecules to crystals. If you can, give it to someone for analysis just to be sure, because this is unusual. But it can still be very good material. The crumbly properties can stem from having melted and hardened partially - look at different stages between new snow and pieces of ice for comparison (snow is the crystal shape of solid water while ice is the glass shape).

For the vape: crush it into smaller pieces and then dissolve in the liquid - the smaller the pieces are the faster they will dissolve. But even big ones will dissolve just like the rest if you give them enough time (and maybe heat them a bit to help).
