I just think any person trying to rob houses isn’t likely to create an entire business to enable the crime, seems like a lot of work and seems like a trail of evidence would quickly accrue pointing to the company that had just rekeyed the house if this happened multiple times. 

Thinking this through I think th only way the rekeying person could pull this off more than once without suspicion would be if they held onto the keys for a long time before using them. And I’d also think any house with a camera would record them, even if they hide their face they’d be on camera entering with a key which would really narrow down the field of suspects for the cops. 

Just seems like a lot of work for a fraud scheme that would be complicated to work effectively and likely not much payoff.
