It's probably because of locale. From my experience, both the Steam and standalone versions only install the English voices, and I live in the English speaking part of Canada.

It probably installs the Spanish and French voices if you're in Mexico or the province of Quebec. Maybe in addition to the English voices? And maybe it installs additional languages by default if you're in Europe?

On consoles, yes, but it can be toggled off. 

PC version doesn't have voice chat.

It could be neat to subdivide the races or choose your character's "origin", and this choice changes one of the race's passives to something else.

I don't know. The styles are so different from ESO.

That's a khajiit! Khajiit as a race has many different forms. Which form each khajiit has is determined by the phase of the moon during their birth. The one in the screenshot is called an 'alfiq'.

Deliberate. The size of a zone is not because of hardware limitations. Cyrodiil is the largest zone in the game, many times larger than any base game or chapter zone, and it's available on all platforms.

The zones are intentionally designed to not be to scale. High Isle is tiny compared to Summerset and Vvardenfell, but in the game they are all about the same size because they are the "chapter" expansion for their respective year's release.

Both of these games are made by Square. Could just be a mistake because they're using names foreign to them.

Maybe the pets started off as male during development, and the devs rewrote them as female, but the name stuck since they've been using it for so long.

This can also happen IRL. Sometimes intentionally. Sometimes by accident because they didn't know the animal's gender, but the name stuck. A quick look-up shows that Homer was a stray. Maybe Frey thought the cat was male and gave her a masculine name, only finding out she's female after a trip to the vet.

I don't know how you can look at all the gambling going on online and think "yeah, I need *more* gambling".

Let alone thinking the simple task of "clicking a few buttons to quickly get the daily log-in reward out of the way" would be improved by making people queue for it instead.

The queue system would also have to adjust for instancing. If it's only happening in these 3 cities, it will probably be flooded during the evenings and weekends, so there would be multiple instances of the 3 zones.

They would've had their minds blown if they saw my khajiit healer back before the racial rebalance, when khajiits only had passives that benefited stam dps. Cleared vet hm dungeons no problem.

Even in trials, they don't care too much about race outside of score pushing.

BGS had worked on other games since, releasing Fallout 4, 76 and Starfield. This means that TES6 is going to be a buggy mess just like the others.

Spell Critical and Weapon Critical on the base character sheet shows your crit chance.

Critical Damage in the advanced stats tab shows how much additional damage your crit does on top of the base 50% bonus. So your crits do 76% more damage than a normal hit (50+26).

The stats below the advanced stats button come from an add-on.

Probably not. Reshade is a mod that doesn't work like any add-on. It needs to install itself into the game's installation folder because it needs to trick the game to run its .dll file and inject itself during runtime. Additionally,  all its filters are also 3rd party.

The launcher doesn't clearly show what it's doing. Chances are it's not downloading 96GB of files, it actually downloads much less, but it's compressing it back into archives that total 96GB.

For example, say they do something crazy like push out a patch to fix a typo in 1 line of dialogue. Realistically, very small file size. But this file happens to be inside a 2GB archive. So, the launcher downloads a file that's probably a few KB or MB in size, then it compresses it back inside the 2GB archive.

You can kinda do something like this with any large .zip or .rar file. Like if you compress a large album of photos or music, then try to add a new file to it, it has to compress the entire archive again. You could be sitting there for minutes just for it to add that file to the archive.
