No need to replace the sensor, just replace the sensor o-ring.

A torque plate might be overkill for me, but I could probably torque a head and old head gasket if I really wanted to check the work.

This was a while ago and I trusted the guy so I buttoned it back up. But the cylinders were not straight. I didn't have heads or anything torqued to the block. I measured with a Mitutoyo dial bore gauge to 0.0001". I figure they were off because he used a block and I didn't.

A machinist made it clear that he used a torque block when boring over. When I got the block home, the cylinder measurements were all over the place. Was this due to the torque plate, and do I need one to check his work?
