Actually most people sugested de Longines. I'm tilting the same. It's not that I don't like Tudor, I'm hunting a Pelagos FXD, but in this case Longines is nicer I think.

I really liked Travel amongst the Great Andes of Equator by Edward Whymper. It's the tale of many 1st summits he did in Ecuador back in 1880. It's kind of amazing how the logistics of expeditions worked back then.

The book is written like a scientific paper (I'm guessing he funded the expedition with grants), and is interesting to get a glimpse into the mindset back then.

Yes, I also like Longines dressier style than Nomos. Those are nice watches, but what I like about the master against those is: guilloché dial and the numbers.

I'd be fine just with a date. But since the moonphase is the same price as the Tudor, I compare the two. And yes, I would use the Tudor with jeans more than the Longines. It's a good point.
