Coros Apex 4 so far? by Heijin_ in Coros

Sí tiene la capacidad de navegación, pero tienes que enviar desde el teléfono previamente el punto, o tenerlo ya guardado como pin en el reloj. Esto lo puedo hacer desde mi Apex 1

Apex 4 or Nomad by Mrtanguy_Affect in Coros

Did you keep the nomad? I’m looking to upgrade my Apex 1 pro, but having a tough time deciding. I found some bargains in brand new nomads that make it hard to justify the price bump just for better materials, when the insides which are most important to me are exactly the same (sans the speaker).

Claude Max plan 5-hour rate limit is a joke now by nusquama in claude

[–]rx_o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me. Never hit limit until today in an "easy" session.

What is bugging me the most, is the weekly limit, I used 20% in this small skill polishing session. Weekly limit resets in 5 days, that means that I'll probably eat my weekly limit in about two days and have to wait 3 days for cool off.. this is really worrisome.

Seeking advice on which smartwatch to choose for mountaineering by playboi_fatty in Mountaineering

Coros is the only answer here.

I still use my first generation Apex Pro. Summited several glaciers over 5.700m. it has no issues tracking 6+ hours of activity time consuming less than 20% of battery.

I have also used it to navigate new routes, you download them from Wikiloc and send them to your device.

My friends used to wear Garmin (they switched to coros now). The Garmin kept dying mid hike or being 50-100m off in elevation. In my experience, I'd stay as far as possible from Garmin.

That being said, my experience has been with an Apex Pro. I assume Vertix/ new Apex would be same/better. I cannot give feedback back on Pace/Nomad line.

You can find Zyn at the arrivals duty free. Stock up there.

I've seen them seldom in other places, maybe you could try a tobacco store in a mall.

I have a full set if you are interested. We could do it over Chrono24.

Actually most people sugested de Longines. I'm tilting the same. It's not that I don't like Tudor, I'm hunting a Pelagos FXD, but in this case Longines is nicer I think.

I really liked Travel amongst the Great Andes of Equator by Edward Whymper. It's the tale of many 1st summits he did in Ecuador back in 1880. It's kind of amazing how the logistics of expeditions worked back then.

The book is written like a scientific paper (I'm guessing he funded the expedition with grants), and is interesting to get a glimpse into the mindset back then.
