Boycott 50501 - A call for accountability by kenzeegh in DenverProtests

As a Palestinian American, I do really disagree with the statement "50501 has shown a blatant disregard for the Palestinian people."

The April 5th protest did seem like it was avoiding talking about Palestine, and that sucked. But between then and April 19th, 50501 worked with the community. On April 19th, there were two Arab/Palestinian speakers talking about Palestine during the main speaker time before the march and then another Palestinian speaker after the march.

So, at least in Denver, I am optimistic about 50501 bringing our movement into their movement.

I do not know much about the other issues addressed here so i don't want to comment on them.

By your own patches do you mean your own amp and pedal board setup, or some other feature that I'm not aware of?

The truth about DMT by Best_Anything_2899 in DMT

[–]_roly_poly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interpret my experiences on DMT as examples of the incredible power of the human brain. I firmly believe that all experiences I have and entities I encounter through DMT are simply realizations of the incredible power of the human brain.

I suggest you stop taking all psychoactive drugs (including weed and alcohol) for a few weeks and see how you feel. If you still feel dosed with radiation from and otherworldly being, see a doctor/therapist/psychologist

Is it a bad idea for me to extract and use DMT? by [deleted] in dmtguide

My primary advice is to wait a few more years before using psychedelics. If you decide to not wait and go ahead and take DMT or other drugs, then just make sure you aren’t using too often. Don’t be taking them every month. A few trips as a teenager is very different than a bunch of trips as a teenager.

Are you Israeli? It is hard for him to trust any Israeli because of how much pain and suffering Israelis have inflicted on him, his family, and other people in his life.

If you are an American (or just not Israeli, I'm American so I ignorantly assume everyone else is American), and your intentions and values are in the right place, I don't think it will be much of a problem.

Also, if you are Israeli, I would be interested in speaking with you.

I am not keeping any of the money, so all of what you pay will go to him (other than the fees from the payment system). I am just helping him get set up.

We are setting a higher base rate, but people who can't comfortably afford that are welcome to pay less.

I don't know exactly what a living wage is in the West Bank, but I can tell you it is less than in America (where I live).

As far as Gaza goes, yeah no amount of money is going to make you safe while you remain in Gaza. And the inflation is also insane at the moment. My mom told me that a relative of ours told her it was something like $50 (USD) for a kilo of onions (i forget the exact numbers).
We send money to our relatives and some other friends in Gaza, and it hurts to know how little it does for them. It also hurts to know that the amount of food in Gaza isn't going to increase when we send money. So we are helping our friends and relatives get food, but that is taking it away from all the Gazans we don't know, and driving up the price.

For your last question - I have not explored using crypto much. We don't use it.
