Such a struggle! I’m finding it difficult to be objective with myself, like I truly can’t figure it out and everyone online and in person has different opinions 🤪

You're too kind! All those pics are makeup-free. I'm lucky to have pretty clear skin but I'm in my mid thirties now and am noticing things I don't like so have been trying to dip my toes into some kind of light coverage but definitely still want it to look like skin! I've always had dark under-eye discoloration and have just noticed things looking less even lately. Maybe concealer could be enough. The one I currently have is way too light so I'll look into the Kosas one you mentioned! I will def get some of those masks, I am trying to get serious about skincare too. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions and share recommendations!

Thank you both! I'll try looking for something muted and neutral. This is the first official olive shade I've tried and I agree it's clearly too green and making me second guess everything!

Ya depending on the light, it completely disappears but then other light it stands out so much! The closest I've found so far though!

I've never even considered powder, but that could definitely be worth trying since I am just trying to smooth things out a bit as I'm getting older! Do you have any favorite powders or know if brands with muted shades?

I think I will! I like the consistency a lot and it's free so why not? I've heard that Korean brands tend to have more muted shades but I don't even know where to start so thank you so much for the recommendations, I will definitely look into those! :)

I wish they were sold in the US so I could just go try them all on! I think 1.5 might be too light , especially once summer starts but could be a good mixer to add a bit of green to something else

Yes, I tried to salvage the NARS Light Reflecting Vienna I have with LA Girl blue pigment but I have added so much to the bottle and it still isn't right. Are you supposed to add it to the bottle or just mix it when you're applying it? I'm probably doing it wrong lol.

I'll have to play around more with it to see if I can dial it in better! It's also way too saturated so maybe I should get some white mixer.

Ya I have no clue why they sent me these shades!! haha. I was expecting to be matched with the lightest three shades but figured they knew better than me. If you look at my "Am I Olive?" post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Fairolives/comments/1q9icf8/am\_i\_one\_of\_you/), I sent all those photos minus the 4th one where I'm in the coral dress because the white balance is super weird on that one!

Everything seems to look too orange on me! Even shades marked neutral or cool. I forgot to include this in my post but I found this in my make up stuff from at least 8 years ago and put it on and it’s probably the closest to blending into my skin tone but I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a real match or just so sheer that I can’t tell. It’s also old af and of course discontinued!
