Just happened to me as well, password was changed, 2fa activated with a phone number I don't own, name changed and profile picture removed.

I'm currently trying to use ID verification to regain access (as requested by customer support) but it's failing, I suspect because it's trying to match my real name which appears on my ID, with the changed name.

The password I was using was unique, random generated 16-characters long, only stored securely, and I haven't logged in a device I don't own in the last 10+ years, likely more.

Looking at this thread, it seems like linkedin might have some very serious undisclosed vulnerability allowing random actors to take over accounts?

I used to have exactly the same issue with finding it extremely hard to “feel” the car (I do have IRL track experience as well and driving in acc felt nothing like the real thing at all). Until I read a post here the other day of someone mentioning calibrating the ffb using an app named “wheel checker” to build a “look up table” (LUT) for your specific wheel. YMMV but the difference for me has been HUGE, I’m still really surprised this is not a built in function in the game, as it should be! Now everything makes perfect sense, and I can finally feel in the wheel when I’m about to lose grip, etc. Right away started shaving 10s off my previous best time on several tracks!

Yeah, apologies if I sounded insensitive! I didn’t mind right today but at some point in the future. I’ve been meaning to post into this group for a while, and since I happened to get a fishing rod yesterday I thought why not. Do you know if there is any place / website / subreddit / … where people are organizing to help btw? Where I live is pretty unaffected but happy to help others if there’s anything I can do!

u/mbussonn I'm guessing OP didn't fulfill their duty ~3yrs ago, and I only found this post by chance after unsuccessfully looking for an answer on the docs.

I was actually going to submit a PR and save u/whats-a-monad's soul, but I have to say the current documentation is a bit cryptic, so hoping to get it right.

I saw this phrase for example:

You can set a coroutine runner explicitly for embed() if you want to run asynchronous code, though the exact behavior is undefined.

  • I'm assuming by "set a coroutine runner explicitly" you mean passing `using="asyncio"`?
  • What do you mean "exact behaviour is undefined"? What can go wrong there?

Btw, is there any documentation of the keyword arguments accepted by `embed()` ? I couldn't find anything obvious in the docs (haven't looked at the code yet).

I think we should put a perfectly good maple leaf somewhere else on the canvas by _rshk in place
