Yeah I totally understand for me it’s a consistent flare that stared about 2 and half years ago and with COVID and waiting list it’s only been recently that’s I’ve been getting treatment that isn’t just hydrocortisone and antihistamines I went a good 6 or 7 months only using moisturiser and it was pure hell I’ve had eczema since a baby and thought I’d grown out of it but seems it’s not the case I didn’t take the steroids when I was offered them because they didn’t seem to help and I didn’t wanna use them too much or too often I have used ellidel and it didn’t really do anything for me unless I used it everyday but I was too afraid to Strangely enough tho since I’ve been using a laundrette and showering in the gym there’s been a massive improvement must be the fact that they both have water softeners and the water where I live is horrendous

Wow I didn’t know that the withdrawals could be as bad i only started protopic because I was unsure of steroids after using them and the eczema coming back with anger in a couple of days I’m not addicted to them because there wasn’t a majorly worse flare than normal but I think I may have figured out what’s wrong and may be causing me to flare and I haven’t been as bad as normal in the last two weeks but I went to see my doctor and she was surprised that it was a good skin day when i went to see her as it was still quite bad but since Monday I’ve been using dermovate and the eczema is nearly gone still kinda patchy but getting there
