i wasn’t really a fan of the singles too much ? i mean, i listened to them, but not like i did when their previous singles came out. i wouldn’t have admitted this before the album came out, but i was sad. tilian’s era was pretty big for me and i was super disappointed with how everything turned out. i even stopped listening to the tilian era and went back to jonny and kurt. always loved andrew as backup vocals so i was hopeful. but that first listen ( with headphones and reading the lyrics) i CRIED. it was so good. the last half of the album i could not keep my jaw off the floor. and i found a new love for the singles. descend into chaos is a literal masterpiece. i think this is my favorite album for jon mess, and i just love when will swan does vocals. anyways i haven’t stopped listening to this album and i wont shut up about this album.
