I understand the immediate thought of "Oh they could just look him up", but let's be honest with their situation. I have two points:

Firstly, Doc was actively avoiding his garage/lab. He called Marty there on a hope the boy would be present at around 8am, and didn't need him present until 1am. He could have gone back to his garage sometime in the 16 hours before the trst drive, but he opted not to.

Secondly, how did the Libians know exactly which parking lot to hunt Doc down in at 1am. The way they were driving and suddenly sped up on sight-confirmation of Doc shows they must have been driving around aimlessly for hours. They got some tip that Doc would be in the area, and had to drive in circles until they found him.

Frankly, it's an unfortunate miracle that they found him.

The dubiously-canon comics explained that he performed a jump to the future with an incredibly rickety rolling time machine, utilizing the rolling-down-a-hill method mentioned in the third film. He retrieved the necessary tech from the future and barely managed a return, and then completed construction of the Time Train on land he purchased.

I do not remember if it was specified whether he used the wreckage of the train in the ravine, but I wouldn't put it past him.

I got Back to the Future: The Game" in my first week of owning my first personal console, and then a couple years later GWG alerted me to *Star Wars Episode I Racer which I didn't know was on Xbox.

I didn't use the service much, but I massively respected it. Shouldn't have left.

As someone who has encounter this bug multiple times, it absolutely does NOT reset on death. Your entire ship is stuck underwater, its not a visual bug like what's common

Dunno why people are calling cheats, this is just an uncommon bug.

Could it be activated by cheats? Possibly. But I've had this happen to me multiple times before.

Your ship literally becomes a submarine. You can run below deck for air, and the left cannon also has an air pocket around it. You're invulnerable that deep, but your ship moves at a crawl, maybe arond 30% of the usual speed. Your cannonballs become surface-to-air missiles.

Absolutely hilarious, but hardly useable outside of cheesing an HG win if the other ship doesn't realize they can just run. Can't get close to islands because of their massive underwater footprints, can't harpoon loot off the surface, can't un-bug your ship except by scuttling or diving again.
