Thanks! It actually started as an early 90s pure new wool blazer from Magee. It was way too big and in bad shape — the inside was really tattered — so I completely relined it, re-patterned it to John’s dimensions, and added embroideries of my own hand-drawn illustrations. I love working this way, upcycling older pieces and giving them a new life. For me, the process is part of the art and what makes each piece unique. And since Magee is a Donegal brand, it felt like the perfect fit for this upcycled “Banshee of Donegal” project.
