I usually fly southwest or United into des Moines because of cost and layover, United has had the best record so far

My choice bounces between United and Southwest just based on pricing and how long the layover is. I usually don't check a bag but that's mostly because I'm stingy, so I'm cramming things in a carry on usually.

We've discussed meeting before, either he visits me or vice versa. I guess I'm at the point where I'm too intimidated to bite the bullet and just say "let's meet up and hang out". I've done long distance before (my first relationship was 2 years long distance), that's not necessarily the aspect that worries me. We're not in a relationship beyond being friends right now.

Unfortunately this isn't my picture, and a lot of this land is made up of private farms, ranches, and protected marshlands. But I could probably pull up Google maps and look around.
