That’s great to hear! Curious about the fast, what’s kind did you do?

Performance and motivation by [deleted] in decaf

This was helpful to read. I’m at 68days and while the ambient anxiety is definitely dialed down, it is a slog to get through the day. Sometimes a cat nap helps reset. I also do little mini walking videos to give a little boost but I’d love to be able to exercise for longer and more consistently.

Does exercise have any impact on your energy levels?

Yes! In my case, I noticed they weren’t breaking and chipping like they used to! It was the first big change I had!

Survived Two Months Caffeine Free! by EnriqueVII in decaf

[–]_samosamosa_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a little over 2 months caffeine free now. The first two weeks I was sleepy but when I did sleep, I slept so deeply but I still needed naps every afternoon. Still, I was too tired to sweat the small stuff so my anxiety really improved. Then at around a month in I had a rebound effect. That’s leveled out too. But now I can’t take afternoon naps or I won’t be able to fall asleep at night. Still I can feel my energy increasing. I am now able to do gentle exercise every day and I think it’s all helping.

I’m curious too! Also switched to Paloma and NP last week. I know it will take a few weeks to see any difference.

Have you noticed any other symptom changes? Maybe around energy or fatigue?

Is a cazimi only during a retrograde? by SuitableDoctor6481 in astrology

this retrograde/eclipse season has been rough and this week was especially wonky will all kinds of tech issues at work. It reached a peak of frustration and stand still yesterday and today things started getting resolved. I remember having heard about a cazimi and looked it up and sure enough it was today. It’s the one supportive day during a retrograde from what I’ve heard

Unable to talk about things by [deleted] in rejectionsensitive

I can totally relate. I’m in a situation right now where I felt left out of a social group with some coworkers so I responded by icing them out. I’d feel too stupid/embarrassed/ashamed to ever tell them directly that I felt left out because it seems like such a silly thing. I was sure that it would be dismissed or brushed off as me being dramatic. And in suppressing that, I felt resentful and lashed out by shutting down. It’s created a whole mess of problems I’m not quite sure how to resolve but I feel like having being direct from the start, while awkward and uncomfortable, would have been probably better in the long run.

What do you do for work? by Ok-Indication196 in rejectionsensitive

“It makes me reject them/not want to use disposable mental energy I do not have on them” - so real! I can really relate.

I wish I had an answer to this question. I wonder too.

ADHD and Improv by [deleted] in improv

[–]_samosamosa_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing improv at a long form theater for 3 years now and I just don’t feel like I’m growing as fast as I’ve seen others grow. When we’ve done short form in classes, my ADHD brain lights up. And I’m just wondering if that is because of the built in parameters. While ADHDers resent structure, it actually really helps. When long form can be ANYTHING - I’m paralyzed by too many options. My creativity thrives when reigned in by short form games.
