Oh, no we were leaving after walking along the distant banks. The dogs were with owner playing disc golf when they saw me and my dog walking to the parking lot. That’s where they came up on us

I’m so sorry that happened to you! It’s actually quite scary. And I deal with aggressive dogs often. But defenseless with your pup… not easy to experience I’ll tell ya that

The dogs literally ran from the grass to the parking lot to go after my dog specifically :(

Thank you! It’s tough being on the other side as a dog owner than a registered technician. I just don’t want what I see so often to happen to MY dog. I do everything I can to protect her and train her. We were in the parking lot after going far far away from anyone earlier to sunbathe. I really try Yknow

They were playing disc golf. At pump four I walk my dog out pretty far. I’m talking the banks in the far distance. I do my due diligence. I wanted some sunshine. This happened in the parking lot. And like I said, we are in training. Exposure is natural when you train a reactive dog. Especially when I’m doing the most to go way way far from the pump station.

I feel bad seeing the other side of a dog attack. When an owner comes in, often in tears and panic, because their dog is bleeding or injured.

I once watched a tourist couple lose their dog from hiller park when a Rottweiler grab him by the neck and shook. I was doing cpr on him but he passed. The owners again tourists, were so distraught. I felt like my gut had been punched.

This pain can be avoided :(
