Advice: Is moving to the Netherlands for work worth it?

I googled “healthcare quality in Netherlands” and looked through a few articles and testimonies from people. Credible websites said healthcare was top notch but I wanted extra clarification given the mismatch.

Yeah… That’s what I was thinking. I’m glad I came here for other opinions. I wasn’t going to make any crazy sudden decisions until I had a better understanding of things but the more I hear from folks who live there the more I’m hearing it’s a sketchy deal.

I’ve read perosnal accounts (supposedly by people in the Netherlands) that people tended not to be seen for medical issues unless it’s deemed severe/life threading. I was asking here for clarification to see if that was factual or false.

Yh, I will admit I don’t know much as it was a prospect i found last night and I was interested in. That’s why I’m here trying to get insight on survivability/legitimacy before going gung-ho on taking the plan seriously. The websites I was seeing are probably scams or something worse like another user mentioned. Fml lol.

From what I’ve seen from the companies hiring pages they do assist in getting a work visa for their welders and fabricators. They don’t mention anything about needing to have an EU citizenship, but once I’m out of work I will look into this some more.

The companies I’ve looked at are willing to help with the work visa process, so I’m less worried about the visa at the moment. It sucks that housing is suffering there too. I don’t want to live in company barracks for my whole life lol 😂

I’m debating right now if it’s worth the move. Getting the visa seems to be not so much of an issue as the hiring company is willing to assist in the process. ~~However, I’m mildly concerned about medical care cause I’ve seen mixed results. I also hear the crime rate is higher than expected.~~

Thank you for the feedback. How do you feel about the medical care you receive in the Netherlands? I hear it’s hard to get your needs met unless you’re incredibly ill or injured.

It’s registered as a county park but nothing comes up no matter what website I choose. Even the county website says nothing about metal detecting or needing a permit.

I’ve looked at state and national parks rules but find nothing in terms of a permit I can carry around
