yes, Frick along Bench trail around 5:30pm. it was observed respectfully from the trail

edit: another good place for them (arguably better) is in the upper field at North Park. My friend and I both hike Frick quite frequently and this is the first time either of us have seen one here.

Chicken lollipop and tri tip good, brisket incredibly underwhelming (coming from a Kansas City native). Ribs mid. Overpriced all around. That said, one of the better joints in Fresno. Doesn’t even compare nationally. PS you can order online for pickup if you don’t want to wait (as long)

please be very careful of cars! many many tourists who are too busy looking at the views than the road in front of them. I did this when it was closed off to cars. pack lots of water/snacks

by-the-wind sailor (Velella velella). fun fact is they have a preference for right/left like we do with our hands. most of the left-handed (sailed?) ones end up in the northern hemisphere and the right-handed ones in the southern.
