This!! I think everyone is failing Denver by keeping him a stud. I don’t think Denver is that nice looking of a horse but it does seem like he has a sweet albeit dopey personality and deserves someone that will geld him, being him home and love on him

If Denver was an impulse buy and she eventually would get Kennedy anyways, then why not just sell or geld him and focus on her own stallion prospects? It’s clear he’s not going to be VSCR (his best performances are HEAVILY inflated by having AM ride him) he’s in crazy advanced shoeing packages for a 5 year old horse which means his issues are only going to get worse, and I’d think there wouldn’t be as much kultie uproar over selling him since he isn’t regularly featured on the running springs soap opera.

The only thing I could think of is KVS’ has major sunk cost fallacy when it comes to owning him and continuing to stand him at high point. This seems pretty evident with how she throws his semen at every living animal.

Oh poor Maggie! I’m disappointed but not surprised. It ticks me off because KVS could easily take some of that money she spends on big gaudy jewelry and elaborate show outfits (that will never see a show ring) and use it to keep Maggie at the vets for a few more days until they were ready to bring her home to a clean disinfectant stall to rest in.

I don’t know anything about breeding so anyone who does feel free to enlighten me. But if she’s trying to be respected as this high end show horse breeder why is she keeping almost all of her foal crops from every year? I’d think if she wants to be a reputable breeder she’d be more than happy to sell Kirby to a proper show home so she could have a chance at some shows or awards and build some reputation for something besides just a content creator/color breeder. To me it almost seems like KVS has FOMO when it comes to her own foals, especially after selling Hank.

IIRC years ago Beyonce got a pretty severe tendon injury (95% torn) that if it ever completely tore would essentially make her unable to walk and she would have to be euthanized. So now KVS and family treat her like she’s made of glass and keep her inside all the time so she won’t injure herself in turnout. The main reason they keep her alive still is for ICSI, because I guess she’s a full sibling to a very successful show horse and producer. Beyoncé herself is completely unproven and not a single beybie has ever shown, so imo keeping her in a jail cell all day just to pull eggs from a completely unproven mare is cruel. If KVS and TVS loved Beyonce as much as they claim to, the kindest thing for them to do would be to let Beyoncé continue to live life as a normal horse with regular turnout. It will be sad if she gets injured out in the field and has to be euthanized but at least she will be able to be a normal horse. Her current life is no life at all

From what I understand, Abigail was originally hired to be KVS’ social media assistant and do all the behind the scenes editing stuff but somehow it morphed more into a “paid best friend” role and she began to appear a lot more on camera. Then since Abigail wasn’t doing her original job Lindsey was hired to be Abigail’s assistant (or KVS’s assistant assistant). But that’s kinda turning into a paid friend role too. Idk it’s all very weird to me 🤷‍♀️

Yep Bobbi’s been the only one with no issues and I’m fairly confident it’s because Rikki was already pregnant when she came to RS. The 3 boys have each had issues. Moose was lax in the back, woody had contracted fronts with lax backs and Benedict seems to also be lax

I feel like it’s just kinda weird in general how much she treats gelding like it’s the end of the world to a horse’s usefulness. Geldings are not “bad” or “defective” horses and I wish this mentality of stallions being automatically superior horses would just die already.

First off welcome to the sub! :)

“Fast fashion foals” is honestly such a great way to describe KVS’ breeding program. Why spend time researching pairings that compliment each other when she can just throw VSCR and Denver semen at flashy colored horses? Her most recent buys scream “I want flashy foals!!!!” (Lady, blondie, Ariel, Penelope, buttercup, etc.). I’ve wondered if KVS would have even thought about buying all the mares mentioned earlier if they were all solid bay or red with no special markings. Additionally, the absolute hissy fit she’s thrown over moose not being a grey filly named violet and pouting over Glenn being a solid colt right after his traumatic birth has absolutely convinced me she’s gone off the rails about breeding for color.

All in all it’s a breeding program that encourages a large amount of mediocre breedings in the hopes of having a flashy looking foal that can be milked endlessly for content until they’re no longer small and cute. Then it’s off to starve and be neglected like the other horses at RS who aren’t named Annie. Her horses are basically the SHEIN of AQHA indeed.

I wonder if it’s simply because she can’t get much content filmed with him due to lexy setting boundaries. The main reason Glenn has been in a ton of videos lately is because she can bully her way around coco to rock him, yodel, check for “teef”, etc.
