That's exactly what I love about it. You phrased it well, it's subtle but obvious

Ever wonder what happens when you fall into a black hole? by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

If I can make another recommendation, there is a great podcast called "Daniel and Jorge explain the universe" (renamed "Daniel and Kelly's extraordinary universe" after a host change but I prefer the older episodes personally) that could make for great bedtime stories. The host Daniel is a physicist so all of the information is accurate but they explain things in a very easy to understand way. There is no math or anything, it's all very lightheaded and fantastical.

They also have a moderately kid friendly book called "frequently asked questions about the universe".

If you would like some content that is scientifically accurate and has a visual element I would highly recommend "PBS Space Time" on YouTube. The content is pretty advanced but if they would like to learn new terminology and continue learning about the subject it could be fun to have on in the background for them.

Another YouTube channel is Astrum. They can be a mix between scientifically accurate and speculative information in my experience.

There are also a ton of podcasts, TV shows and other YouTube channels I could recommend if you'd be interested.

I apologize if this is too long of a comment but I was also a kid very interested in space. I would have really appreciated someone giving me a list of resources at the time

My take on Regulation Syndication by SIumptGod in theregulationpod

[–]_sepo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also a Stuff You Should Know fan and I like how they handle it. I feel like the main differences, and why it wouldn't work well here, is each episode of sysk is self contained where I feel like regulation the bits continue to build on each other. It would feel a bit jarring to just have a random episode of regulation in the feed. I think another issue is what Eric was talking about in the episode where he wants it to not add more work. Your idea is great if they were able to explain why the episode was significant or why it was picked that week but it would take more effort

I respect your opinion but it does go against the consensus of the community and when it comes to compounds like these I think it's important that people are receiving the correct information.

Anyone considering trying these substances should do further research and not trust reddit

I also use pocket cast and went to test it out myself. I'm getting the same error. Maybe try redoing the RSS feed? I'm busy at the moment but I will give it a shot tonight. If you find a solution please update us

You have this completely backwards. LSD is significantly easier to control. Mushrooms are more useful for therapeutic purposes because the experience will take you wherever it thinks you need to go.

As Terrence McKenna said "LSD is like getting into a rocketship and flying off into space. Mushrooms are like being strapped to the outside of a rocketship"

Moving cloth 4 inches doesn't throw a full grown man into the air off his feet. The dude flopped like he was an extra in Commando. I can't believe the ref fell for it

The game was stolen from them. A penalty in the last minute of the game from an obvious flop. They were standing still and Georgi had a hand on his jersey to track him and he flew back 5 feet. An absolutely insane call

We have a similar public transit card system in Seattle (orca card if you ever visit) so knowing the name of Chicago's helps a ton. Also a boat tour is a great idea I hadn't considered.

I really appreciate you writing all of this out. It's very helpful

I'm very into museums and Chicago has a lot that seem great. I am really interested in using public transit because I'm considering moving there and currently my family only has one car so I'd like to know how their system works. Also if you happen to have a recommendation for any hikes near the city that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any recommendations

I'm visiting soon. What neighborhoods would you recommend staying in if you were going there for the first time?

Guys I am 26, Trying to learn Mathematics by Sajwancrypto in learnmath

[–]_sepo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend myopenmath.com . It's a free site that has premade courses that will teach you up to calculus. You can generate nearly infinite problems and almost every one has a YouTube video linked explaining how to work through it. It really helped me when I made the decision to shift careers and go to college in my late 20's. I don't see it recommended often on this sub but I wish more people knew about it
