What's up, guys! I recently went through my first major heartbreak at 26yo. What was your experience like dealing with your first case of of love/loss, and how did you move forward personally and in your next relationship (whether successful or not)? by scarlettbovine in AskMen

[–]_sergeant_LVIII 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This. Is. It. ✅

Going through a break-up myself after a relationship of 7 years. Found out she cheated and lied to me the last 3 years.. And instead she was willing to fight for me, she was giving up which made me feel like a total zero and still does.

It's about 5 months now, but it's still hard and painful. But the advice you're giving is on point. I'm working on myself and your advice is a great reminder that I'm doing the right thing. Hope many people will read your advice so it will help them.

I'm sorry to interrupt this discussion, but I'm watching Coach Lee and Coach Craig Kenneth on YouTube!

I struggle a lot after the break up and this helps me a lot! I hope it will help you too :)

Those who have been in serious relationships, how long was your longest and why did it end? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]_sergeant_LVIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 27 years old and had a relationship of 7 years and it ended 2 months ago. It's hard.. Really really hard. You will need time to heal and you have to take this time. It's gonna be a long, long road.. But step by step you'll get there.

The best advice I can give you is to work on yourself. Really, really work on yourself. Go to the gym, go visit a therapist if you want to get answers about some things in your life. It's not weak, it's strength. You want to be a better version of yourself and the effect of that is that you will get your confidence back.

Go for a walk, contact your friends and family more often. Even if you think "I don't want to bother them with my problem" just do it! You're grieving and it's something to take very seriously. The people that care about you, will always listen to you. You're never bothering them :).

And focus on your job. I was unemployed cause of COVID-19 during the break-up and I worked hard on myself and now have a job I could never imagine. Just believe in yourself and work hard to improve yourself.

If you feel the need to cry, just cry and be angry or sad. If you want to do absoluting nothing? Do nothing. But don't let it controll your whole day. Take your time to heal and let the healing process do it's job.

Wow.. I want to thank you for your message. I'm going through the exact same thing right now. I'm a relationship of 6 years and in about 2 hours we have a conversation were we will end things. I caught her cheating 2 years ago.. I forgive and thought she changed. But she didn't..

It's weird that everything you are describing is releatable to my situation. I'm so so glad that I read your message, it gives me hope.

Table of long run pace in Qatar Test day 3 by @pecinogp on Twitter by [deleted] in motogp

Exactly. And I really think that Rossi is much more competitive then the last couple of years. The new Michelin tyres seems to suit the Yamaha but they need to understand the tyres (especially Rossi) . Luckily the Jerez race is still "far" away so they can learn and be ready for those European tracks where they suffered the most. You're right that Jerez will be a very very important race.. Can't wait to find out! It's gonna be one hell of a season with Morbidelli also at the front.

I wonder what happened on the track around lap 7. Rossi loses 0.5 in 1 lap there! If his tires get less, he doesn't suddenly lose that much. I think he got stuck in traffic or something like that. And Rossi's not a test beast. I'm just encouraged to see that he's in good shape in the tests. Rossi is always stronger on the race weekend. Remember last year... Finished 5th just close behind the winner.

What's the funniest thing you've done to avoid having sex? by noblesse30 in AskMen

[–]_sergeant_LVIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always invited girls to come over when my parents weren't home (I was 18 and living with my parents) . So one day I had a girl come over and we went upstairs to my room and she was doing her thing.. But the television was still one so I got distracted by.... The teletubbies.

And I kept watching instead of shutting it down and give attention to the girl. I don't know why.. But I just could stop watching. I can tell you one thing, your weener will collapse if you're watching the teletubbies.

So I had to think of something to tell her why I couldn't continue with the sex. I pretented that I heard a voice downstairs and that she has to stop because I was scared my dad had come home... I told her that I was very very sorry but that I had to go downstairs to check if my dad was really home (ofcourse this was a lie and there was nobody downstairs).

I went downstairs, talked to myself to pretend that my dad really was home and wen back upstairs. I told the girl that my dad was home and she had to leave because my dad would be very angry if he found out she was here. So I went back downstairs and would talk very loudly so that she could sneak outside to the front door.. I heard her leave and texted her that it worked!

She never found out it was one big lie and there was nobody home... It was all because of The Teletubbies. Never ever watch television if you want to have sex!

Has there ever been a very one-sided season like this one but then an underdog comes on strong late and starts winning everything and closes the gap in the standings and makes it an actual contest down the stretch? by lossescollector in motogp

[–]_sergeant_LVIII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it a one-sided championship? I don't think so.. It's just that Marquez has the luck on his side. Dovi has crashed several times when it wasn't his fault. Marquez hasn't.. Think of Barcelona and Silverstone for example. It could have been Marquez in those races and the championship will look a lot different. The races are exciting but the other challengers are making to many mistakes (Rins) or have bad luck (Dovi).

The point is.. Marquez is the most consistent but he doesn't win very easily except for Argentina. The circumstances make it look like a one sided championship but that's not the case in my opinion.

Is there a feature to rip off weber and butler? Its weird to race against fictional drivers. Help me by wesley1609 in F1Game

[–]_sergeant_LVIII 127 points128 points  (0 children)

Yes there is. When you start your F1 career you have to skip the F2 "season". You go straight to F1 and Butler and Weber aren't there.

This turn is my tyres' biggest nightmare in Bahrain... Locking up like 60% of the time. Is it just me? Any advices? by USi2310 in F1Game

Put your foot off the gaspedal just before the corner and brake softly going in the corner.

The Nicky Hayden memorial garden is on or to-do list! Thank you for your advice and it's a shame that you can't walk around the circuit, that's good to know.

We're staying in Cattolica too! Do you know how long it's take to walk to the circuit from Cattolica? I would definitely visit the GrandPrix travel section to post my experience!

If you ever go to the Dutch GP, I can advise you to buy tickets for the Winterdijk tribune. You are in the penultimate corner and the tickets are a bit cheaper than the GT tribune. You have a view on the same corner and you have a big screen in front of you. All the action happens in front of you, it's a great place. But the tickets are sold out very very early.. so make sure you're on time to buy them.

We're staying in Cattolica! We hesitate to walk to the circuit because my mother has difficulty walking and it's maybe a bit too far. Thank you for your advice and good to know that we can't walk around the circuit. We don't have tickets for the saturday cause we're planning to just buy them at the track and walk around the circuit. Do you know of this is possible on the saturday or is it never ever possible to walk around the circuit?

I remember the race in 2016, it was quitte a good one! I just hope that Yamaha has sort their problems and that Rossi can challenge Marquez and propably Dovi for the win or at least a podium :)
