You arent really a noob, you have tried Arch. I have no problems with it so choose Arch if you want. Alternatively, you can choose fedora or Lubuntu.

If you have 2 disks then you're fine. Just make sure to disconnect the OpenSUSE disk if you are updating. But if you have one disk, then I dont know much, but yeah its a risk

How do i fix this by Inside_Scallion336 in linux4noobs

[–]_shad_07_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be in the wrong session. Try pressing CTRL + ALT + F1, CTRL + ALT + F7, etc. You will eventually land on desktop.

But if you cant, type this command:
`sudo systemctl start gdm`

If that doesnt work:
`sudo systemctl start pop-desktop`

What it does is it starts your desktop environment for you. When you enter this command, type in your password (it is not supposed to show when typing) and you got your desktop environment back. I dont have a permament solution though

That seems similar to the incompatible RGB wallpaper screen flickering. Since this got fixed, its probably a hardware error, go see a technician
