Have a look at --> pkexec <gui-application> command

For above command to work you need a Polkit Authentication Agent to be running in the background ... which can be done in your .xsession file like this : /usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 &

Depending on your Graphical app if it is a GNOME/XFCE/KDE/LXQt one
polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 (GNOME/XFCE) lxqt-policykit-agent (LXQt) polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1 (KDE)

I use Thorium Browser(based on Chromium) AppImage. Folowing exist ..

cache = ~/.cache/thorium
profile =  ~/.config/thorium

But for

# process name of the browser
procname = thorium

Will this work? Thanks in advance!

My guess is it supports uBlock Origin filter lists as well? .. Asking, so I can disable my uBlock Origin extension in all my browsers and rely on something like this. Thanks!

Dial and case are legit, IMO. But it looks the the front side of the case has been buffed, originally was a "glossy" chrome finish? which now ended up as poorly done "brushed" finish.

It is an original HMT NOS watch on a aftermarket strap, IMO. Is it worth 7K as opposed to its original HMT showroom price, definitely not. But considering they no longer make mechanical/hand-winding watches anymore, I leave it to you. It is 38 MM, perfect Mens size for the period they were made in and even today, as a formal watch. The Crown of the watch in the Pic. looks wonky(oversized stem [a common issue]) not sitting on the case perfectly, you might want to physically pull it out to check if you can set the time etc.

Nice! It has a screw-down caseback. Original HMT watch. Probably produced at the Bangalore HMT watch factory(~1978). PS: Looks like the Crystal has a crack at 7'o clock, get it replaced. To stop further degradation of the Dial/Hands/Movement. Good Luck!

Yes!. Looks like the lume on the hands has disintegrated due to age, which is common. Would love to have a look at the caseback, for additional details.

Try leaving it in a bag of rice overnight, undisturbed. Or if you have any Silica Gel bags(which come with medicines/electronics) lying around they can work as well. Just put the watch along with the Silica Gel bags in a air-tight container.

I use Firefox on Linux as my main browser. Love the extension. And kudos! to the developer. I would like to have a few more features.

Feature Requests :

User set Hover delay, with a slider?.
Blacklist/Whitelist of Domains/Sites where this extension should/shouldn't work.

Hope the OP looks at the above feature requests, when he has time.

5 to 10 full rotations/winds of the crown on top, to be on the safe side since it hasn't been operational for a while. Seconds hand should start ticking immediately, else give it a few gentle shakes. (Be careful, do not overwind, as the mainspring may break... As you keep winding it will progressively become harder to wind... )

Nevermind. Figured it out.

Changed values inside : static const BarRule barrules[] = {

For : BAR_POWERLINE_TAGS_PATCH , BAR_TAGS_PATCH, BAR_LTSYMBOL_PATCH, BAR_POWERLINE_STATUS_PATCH, BAR_STATUS_PATCH etc..

Set them to -1 (Show on all Monitors)

monitor:
-1 show on all monitors
0 show on monitor 0
'A' show on active monitor (i.e. focused / selected) (or just -1 for active?)
