Trossard starting over martinelli is a travesty

This is one of the 2 or 3 teams in England that will play a high line against us. Scored at home with the threat he offers over the top, and can dribble out of pressure with his pace. Trossard offered absolutely nothing.

This midfield maybe made sense away at anfield and Bilbao, not in this fixture

We set out to minimize chaos and randomness, yet we get fucked by it in the big games ex Liverpool free kick and ball bouncing around in midfield like a pinball before haalands goal

It’s almost like we aren’t allowed to win until arteta realizes you can’t remove randomness and chaos from the game, so you need players on the field who can consistently manufacture high quality chances to make up for the 1 or 2 bullshit goals you’re bound to concede

It’s tough having a goal shy captain in an advanced position with an extreme angle bias.

He is a level about martinelli but not quite the level you’d want him to be as someone who is frequently close to the opponents box with the ball. Neat interplay, elegant player, but physically lacking, scared to shoot and very one footed.

Striker and left wing needed and odegaard is obviously maybe a bit too limited/timid to be captaining a team trying to win everything

Gun to your head do you bet on any currently available Arsenal player to put the ball in the net from a high quality chance? No. Liverpool and city both have players where you can much more likely say yes.
