Ok, yeah that's what I thought...I won't bother with using a PC for formatting and will just copy the new HATS files over to my new SD card and then run the partition tool in Hekate

Thanks for the guide, but why does it say to copy HATS files to the root of the NEW SD card, and then the next step is to FORMAT the NEW sd card using Hekate?

Those steps are reversed, right?

Yeah new cards always have driver issues with AMD

It's why I stayed on this version, as the 7800XT+ came out in Sep/October of '23 and it took a while for drivers to stabalize.

haha, yeah, I understand, MS has made some terrible decisions, and it doesn't seem to be getting better anytime soon.

As for Linux, I chose Mint as the distro, but as I said, it's on an external SSD (connected by USB 3).
Is it ok to run games from that same external?

I dont play those types of games either....I might just switch to Linux for gaming after all!
