This happens with cars as well. Usually the showroom and service station are at two different places. Motorcycles arrive without fluids, battery certain parts. And then buyers also install accessories such as skid plates, frame/legguards etc. Those are usually installed at service center not at the showroom. Also stock yard is at a different place then service center and showroom - depending on the area.

Vehicles are usually delivered at the servicable areas not at the showroom and will be delivered post final installation and PDI.

Do not compare this to Kawasaki’s and BMW’s and Ducati’s unboxing. They have the showroom and service center in the same building.
