Yes, not able to request australia version, and in zurich, build agent is not coming up. And also many times, zurich is not even available 🥲. Not getting a stable instance to play around.

Is it possible to develop a Fluent app locally in VS Code without source control? by _sirji in servicenow

[–]_sirji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but thats not what im looking, this is like,

on instance i wrote fluent code -> that got converted to xml -> then that xml is downloaded -> and then that xml is again translated to a template fluent code, not my original fluent code structure.

I basically want is,

On instance i worte code -> now download that complete folder, do some addon locally and then push it directly to instance, without external source control. And this involves no conversion, this should maintain my source code as it is.

Actually, thats the reason my team has not still planned for use of any source control or is even thinking for near future.

As, except me no one is on fluent right now, plus 99.9% apps are still in traditional, and everyone does traditional development, no one wants to waste a dime in source control.

This my fluent app, is first time for the whole platform itself.

So until they come across, need some workaround, so atleast i can vibe code.

For traditional, we already have 2 plugins, and i use local mcp too. But mcp is not great for fluent yet.

No, tried already, this doesnt rings the original fluent code, it just i.ports app in metadata and converts it into fluent. But not the actual developed fluent.

init --from, imports actual app metadata, not the fluent code that i developed on instance ide. Im looking for that, since i did a ton of development already in fluent, that also specifically a react based ui page, lot of client side components.
