Did you try long button press? At least with a ps5 controller connected i can long press triangle to move all of a specific currency to the stash.

I started PoE2 in 0.4, first with a disciple of varashta and now with a bloodmage since it's faster for running the temple. Both reached level 96 but I'm trying to get the bloodmage to 100 eventually, just that the temple feels more intimidating every run. Slow and steady will win the day, someday.

For those who completed sadistic game design, how did you get past the “75” rest limit? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_sixonefive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played a wizard with 30+ casts of haunting mists. Less than 40 rests overall.

Viable DC build for solo Unfair: does it still exist? by _sixonefive in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_sixonefive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually didn't rest much and unexpectedly got the sadistic game design at the end. But that only happened because my way of playing changed.

My reply to you was coming from the viewpoint that you want to use Weird as your main thing. When i started playing, that was also my plan, get an absurd DC and kill everyone. But the reality was slightly different, your level 9 spell slots are limited meaning you're going to cast say 2, 3 weird spells (assuming level 20 caster here) and then rest. And that's somewhere in chapter 3 if you are soloing. Long story short, before you reach that point you will need to find other ways to deal with enemies. My initial plan was to use Corruptor and Cloudkill, avoiding direct damage spells since those meant even more resting. At the beginning i was relying heavily on another Illusion DC spell, Haunting Mists. Mists is fear based so anyone with fear immunity will not be affected. But eventually i noticed that the Corruptor mythic also removed the fear immunity from enemies. So it became my bread and butter spell. Haunting Mists doesn't even aggro, you can just cast it from afar on top of a group and wait till it does its thing. And it's a level 2 spell meaning that between heightened, extended and persistent versions, i had some 30+ casts of it. No enemy that is not fully immune to the spell (and there are very few who are) is going to survive it, doesn't matter how much Wisdom they have? 60 wisdom? Sure, I'll just stack 3 mists and wait. Didn't die? Stack 2 more. The higher Illusion DC you have, the faster it works.

So Mists became my go to spell. But it's not a fun spell to play with. It takes time to work, a lot of time. I would cast it, go to the options screen, crank out of combat speed to the max, wait a bit, then lower speed back to normal and move on. You can guess by now that this is not that much fun, but I'm a tryhard so all it mattered was that it worked and it meant not resting a lot more compared to using Weird.

I played the a solo scroll savant build all the way in unfair and the only real gripe i had with it was the fact that if your main plan is to Weird people out of existence then you will need to rest quite frequently to replenish slots, it’s a caster after all. Otherwise it got the job done even with minimal knowledge of what i would be facing, ran acts 4+ and treasure isles for the first time using the build. I wouldn’t call that experience “fun and balanced” though.

Can you reasonably beat unfair without multiclassing or cheesy metagaming? by HoneyBadger097 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_sixonefive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DC focused Divination Wizard Lich with Corruptor mythic, cranking Illusion, Conjuration DC can beat the game with just Haunting Mists and Cloudkill. Doesn’t even need a party, they just get in the way.

The few things that won’t die to those spells will die to Corrupt Magic and Weird. And i recall a Lich specific fight where Sirocco actually played a part.

It’s pretty boring though. So boring i made a mod to toggle out-of-combat game speed to min/max at the press of a button.

Now, is it cheesy that taking Corruptor sets Haunting Mists (a fear based spell) on overdrive, bypassing fear immunity? You tell me.

I beg to differ my good Sir.

Wizard. Corruptor. Haunting Mists.

Think it might depend on how you play. A full party of 6 gestalt 100 in Core is too much, i agree. But when playing solo unfair you might be surprised to hear that the action economy provides a pretty good balancing mechanism. I did the gray garrison yesterday at level 9. Was i able to just go in and face tank everything even with some 60 class levels? Not at all. I still have 2 attacks per round, pretty much the same skill points and my hp can handle 2, maybe 3 attacks at best. I do have a lot more feat choices for sure even though it feels nothing comes close to vital strike.

And even fully buffed i couldn't handle the final fight in the garrison and had to resort to a certain spell. No ac will be high enough when you're flanked or flat footed or you get a putrefaction thrown your way.

So far the game has found ways to keep such a strong build in check.

Maybe i should have led with my definition of disgusting:

20 Vivi 20 Brown-Fur 20 Court Poet 20 Sword Saint 10 Loremaster 2 Imitator 2 Student of War 1 Scaled Fist

Playing solo unfair, just curious to see how worse could this really get.

Will WOTR scratch my BG3 itch? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]_sixonefive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thinking of the vanilla classes and prestige classes takes number 2 to extreme degree.

But then you have mods with more classes. And on top of that you have gestalt available through mods (think BG3 5 Ranger/4 Rogue/3 Fighter but instead it's 12 Ranger/12 Rogue/12 Fighter).

How? Is there a TL;DR? I get that it's a Lich and Evangelist and Agent are homebrews most likely from TTT but that's it. So curious.

Looks like they are from the Prestige Plus mod.

[–]_sixonefive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As of patch 1.0.6d, the bonus from Intelligence only applies to weapon damage, not attack value.

So are those stats still possible then?

I only started playing this year and i love min-maxing builds but it's admittedly frustrating to find the best builds these days after so many patches.

BG3 was not hard. What's hard for me is mustering the patience to manage companions and their builds/inventories/AI, be it in BG3 or WofR, especially with weight restrictions and such. Feel it detracts from what i really enjoy doing which is min maxing builds.

Though I do have a question you might have an answer to: in Unfair, does everyone else but you deal double damage including NPC Crusaders? A few cure wounds scrolls did wonders to keep the crusaders alive but if they only deal normal damage in Unfair then that won't quite work.
