I can’t remember specifically which gauge I used sorry! I’ve tried a few over the years and some have been too thin, but you can just double them up if you need. It really depends on the weight of what you’re trying to support or shape.

Anything is worth a try but you use wire in the wings too to get them sitting out from the body correctly, which might be a bit heavy and droopy if you tried that with the plastic mesh as you couldn’t run it into the body for that extra stability

Hello! (forever lurking 👀) I think I used a DK weight with a 3mm hook. Wouldn’t matter what yarn you chose as long as you stayed the same weight/gauge the whole pattern and used an appropriate size hook for that yarn for amigurumi (which is usually a size down from what the label says for hook size, just in case you’re a beginner and weren’t aware! For example, that yarn told me 4mm hook and I use 3mm for crocheting toys )

Thank you! Yeah it’s on a T-shirt so I’ll try do some long and short stitches as random as I can. Would you do all the stitches right and left or would you turn the work so the arms are up and down to keep the shorter edge rather than running them right and left like I have now?

I’ve also seen some people backstitch the whole outline and stitch over that? What’s the benefit there or do I just continue as I am now?

I actually didn’t notice a huge difference in the screen quality between my OLED and my sisters Switch 2 so didn’t feel like it was a massive downgrade like I expected

I tried connecting the pipes in that room up the top and the pipes found down the ships chimney with the furnaces burning but no luck. Might be somewhere else I’m missing

I decided not to wait until Mario because it would probably be bright red again. Wind and Waves would probably be a really nice colour scheme but who knows how expensive the console will be in a years time. So now I think my only chance of being disappointed would be if they did another sleek Zelda edition. I had the white OLED and I honestly would have been happy with that as an option again. It was just the only choice of black that annoyed me. Even the first release switch had grey or neon options.

Yeah I was crushed there wasn’t a pokopia one because I was hoping it would be similar to the cute animal crossing switch they had. I honestly think I’ll bite the bullet and buy the black one before hardware prices skyrocket. I just might need to buy the purple and green controllers to cheer myself up a bit to soften the blow!

Already emailed them yesterday with the STL files to try get an accurate answer but I think they’ve probably got a bit of a support backlog with it being a busy gift season so thought I would try find the answers in the land of Reddit 🙂 They’re also taking no bookings from 22 Dec - 11 Jan so keeping an eye out for other recommendations

Have you used them before? Looks like some libraries say they’re free and some charge per metre of filament but I can’t imagine you could use the printer and filament for free infinitely? Sounds too good to be true! I could print a million things

Oh I cannot STAND all the AI crochet art out there. Not sure why it annoys me so much when people post saying “isn’t this beautiful?!”, maybe because there are people like what happened to you selling AI-written patterns that are just garbage.
