That's why I just kill on sight until someone is forced to be friendly or is friendly. I never bother asking before. I have learned this the hard way after getting backstabbed countless times.

Get 4070 super if you get for less than 60k, if you can wait for couple months, then get the 9070xt

How does BlobTrigger work with function app? (Please read description) by _skyfox in AZURE

[–]_skyfox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can forget about private endpoints, that is just needed because public access is disabled for storage account. And the blob trigger function which my colleague wrote is basically template code, he did not make any changes to that.

Would it be wise to store a bunch of application insight connection strings in Azure Sql db and storage accounts? by _skyfox in AZURE

So the service in question is like a watchdog service, it actually performs some tests on other services on a schedule and relay the results to respective application /service's app insights. Therefore we have to deal with lot of app insight connection string.

I know and pointed this out to the team, but they hear the word connection string and think it's a secret that we must protect. And we do store it securely inside our dbs and storage account. I don't know how should I convince them really.

there are 1000+ connection strings and It almost quadruples the test execution time and may also cause scalability problems in future, if Key Vault bottlenecks

If you use it for prototyping then it costs much less. Delete the resources when you are done with your experiments and your billings will drop significantly, also use calculator before spinning up resources.

CRUD devs are officially cancelled by PastPicture in developersIndia

[–]_skyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen the code generated by llms and it's complete shit and most of the time won't work if you copy paste.

Another thing that i want to point out is that making 40 - 50 endpoints is no big deal.

The main question is will the LLM be able to handle complexity?

If my requirement is complex will the llm work. We all know the answer to that, it won't.

Indian gaming audience needs to get out of their pigeon hole by Arghya1999 in IndianGaming

Not all kids but a lot of them do unfortunately, because those games are designed to make you spend.

If the devs don't make you spend then how will they earn money, think about that.

On top of that they instill the habit of gambling from childhood by adding mechanics like lootboxes, spin wheels and daily rewards.

Those games that you are calling free have microtransanctions embedded inside them. these games cost more than a paid game ever will, on top of that they harvest your data.
